I had the pleasure of having this beer on tap not too long ago at a bar in Philly called Zot.
It pours a nice chestnut brown with a white one finger head that disappears after a few sips. It smells sweet with an aroma of warm alcohol. Tastes the same way with a malt flavor that really comes through strong. It is a well rounded ale and since it was on tap it may have been a higher alcohol content due to it being a wee heavy. Not too carbonated and easy to drink. I had it with steak and stoemp bacon Belgian style. This beer was good on tap if you can find it on tap, try it.

Pours a dark ruby (or light brown) color with an average slightly tan head.
The aroma is a combination of some roasty smell, some dusty aroma and slight nuts. Also a slight alcohol smell (scotch).
The taste is not really strong nor is too weak. It starts with a slight caramel and roasted coffee taste. It's pretty bitter and quite strong, although still quite easy to drink. Nice.

Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. Small streaks of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Small chunks of sediment are seen floating around in the beer after the pour. Smell is of toasted malt, dark fruit, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with very sweet malt and dark fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells pretty nice but the taste is way too sweet to drink a lot of this one.
