Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, mellow rum notes and sugary. In the taste, big maltiness, a sweet mellow rum, and notes of citrus. A small bite and medium bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry note of rum in the aftertaste. A bit sweet but nice presence of rum.

A: Golden consistent cloudiness throughout the glass, 3 fingers of bright white head. it was a gusher. Little carbonation visible in the glass.

S: Malt, sweet caramel, pineapple, slight astringency, hops, lemon peel. Lightly sweet.

T: A sudden punch of sweet pineapple and cinnamon, light sweetness with a dry hoppy character like tea leaves, reminding me of sweetened tea.

M: Sweet tea, sweet and dry all at once. Medium body, dry finish, little carbonation.

O: Really unique and interesting. Love the label on the bottle, love the surprise taste and mouth feel.

Pour is lightly hazed yeloow with a bubbly white head. Nose is lemon zest faint up front with a rubber cement tinge and floral hop in back. Light and stagnant. Overly sweet flavor with a bit of honey and lots of sugar. Lightly bitter in back with a puckering touch to it. Feel is creamy, moderate carb but not enough to balance, sandy texture and a thin finish.

33cl Bottle: best before sometime in 2013: poured into a 'Leffe' chalice on 21st Aug 2012.

Clear blond, sediment left in the bottle, will have that after this live review.

Good full head of white foaming bubbles, plenty of carbonisation as the trail of small bubbles rise towards the head.

Sweet floral hop nose, sugar cane sweet in the taste, one of the sweetest beers I've ever had: corn and Belgian yeasts add to both the aroma and the taste, but I couldn't find any rum (or raisins), only sweetness.

One small bottle is enough for a sitting: just a sweet brew (and I like the sweeter beers normally).

Foot note: even sweeter when the grist/sediment is added, the rum content might even have been hinted at!

Abundant foam quickly. Well yeasty nose and a reminder that we added the malt whiskey in this draft. Round in the mouth, one feels the touch of whiskey and alcohol which gives sweet flavors. Note also a very yeasty brew that brings in more attendance fruity but subtle little interest, a fair amount of sugar. Some bitterness in the finish. An easy-drinking beer but unfortunately a little too sweet.

A clear, golden beer with a green teint, weird!

Smell is fruity with a bubblegum smell. There is a malty smell that has some biscuity and candisugar notes. The rum addition os

Taste is fruity and has some exotic fruit notes. The rum added to this beer adds a subtle warm and lime taste. I can't figire out if the fruity taste comes from the rum, but it certainly is Belgian and it is a definate crowd pleaser.

Beer bottle (33cl), tasted in 2007.

Appearance : clear golden color, with a huge foam head (cloudy), good effervercence.
Smell : citrus and yeast aromas with spicy notes
Taste and mouthfeel : beer made with rum but not very present, sweet flavour of malts.
Drinkability : an average beer in the Belgian pale ale style.

The label varies slightly from the one pictured, including the fact that this bottle states 8% ABV instead of the 7% previously reviewed. Like the previous reviewer said though, this seems to be promoting the release of a band's new album, "Radio Pirate." Bottle cap date of "10/04/08."

Pours into a Corsendonk tulip a pale clear gold with an explosive huge rocky white head. Enough retention to make pouring the entire 330 ml bottle a time-consuming process.

Very pleasant fruity aroma, even through the massive head which doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Bananas and pears, very yeasty, and a nice spiciness with a hint of cloves. Slight alcohol phenols as it warms.

Sweet fruits. Bananas and apricots along with cloves are predominant. Very yeasty as in the nose, and the alcohol is also very evident. Lightly bitter finish.

Syrupy mouthfeel with a light-medium body. Smooth, but not much to it. Drinkability is average at best, the sweetness and alcohol are just too strong and do not balance one another that well.

This beer apparently has a rum content of less than 5%, as well as an ingredient called 'aroma.' The beer label and name appear to be a tie-in to some music group's new album.

Pours with a huge, oversize white head over the yellow blond beer. The beer has a very spicy odor, maybe a hint of cloves or something similar in the nose. pleasant, though atypical for beer.

taste starts out very appealing, slightly sweet and spicy, then a ton of somewhat nasty sourness and bitterness comes in, with a hint of the trademark Silly metallic note. Initially the beer didn't even taste much like beer rather than a generic malt beverage, but the second half of the taste makes this a rather bitter beverage. Curiously, this only starts a second or two after swallowing.

Interesting product from Silly, honestly not pleasant to drink for me.
