750ml bottle, caged and corked dated 8/8/09. Pours a murky, dull gold color. Only a bit of the ample sediment discernible in the bottom of the bottle makes it into the tulip glass. The four-finger white head is frothy, but not that thick, leaves some big-bubbled lacing.

The floral aroma consists of yeast, malt, slight coriander, and banana. The flavor consists of the same, slightly biting, nutty, peppery, metallic and mildly alcoholic finish.

It's rather light in body and well carbonated. It demonstrates decent complexity, but seems slightly out of balance. It seems very dry and stolid for the style. It's quaffable, but certainly not the best out there.

Deugniet on the label (not Triple Moine), with a guy with his ass exposed. Hope I won’t be in that condition after having this brew.
Golden color with an immense fluffy head with good retention and leaving laces.
Aroma of oranges, pine, green apple and Belgian yeast.
Refreshing and spicy flavor with notes of oranges, pepper, cinnamon, pine cones, honey and green apples again.
Very dry aftertaste with a spicy lingering feeling.
Medium body with good carbonation, slightly effervescent. Alcohol of 7.5% abv is harmonic.
It remembered me of an apple Martini. Interesting beer that is worth it a try.

330 ml bottle, as Deugniet. Poured into my trusted tulip glass. ABV 7,5%.
Pale orange golden on the body, slighty hazy. On top of it two fingers of snow white head, soapy in texture with average retention. Light lacing around the glass.
Lots of citrus on the aroma, nice and refreshing. Some banana bread and bubblegum too.
Taste follows the aroma with a ton of citrus fruits, aome green apples on the background and a slighty bitter, hoppy aftertaste.
Medium body, lots of carbonation. Very dry on the palate.
Overall a very nice, refreshing beer.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

Hardly any head forms on this beer with a real nice display of white thin carbonation all around the glass, pinstripes and all. Body color is FILLED with yeast chunks all around, it's like a lava lamp practically and I did not aggressively pour this at all. Body color is a real nice amber bronze/red.

Nose is an interesting kick of cinnamon, classic sugar tripel sweetness, and some dry punchy yeast. Pretty neat, I like this cinnamon angle, never experienced that before on a tripel.

Taste is kind of muted, a slight anise quality but hard to notice. Somewhat flat, and strangely doesn't feel as carbonated as one would expect from the appearance. Slightly watery, not much density, but a good finish and taste, but also some alcohol and dry heat.

Overall not too bad. Bottles says brewed with coriander (I never smell coriander on any brew), licorice (ok..) and orange skin (not getting that so much). Regardless how these flavors might be not as apparant to me, they still make for a passable tripel for tasting.

poured from 750mL into a chalice. Pours a lighter gold color with a smaller head. A bit too light in color actually

nice and creamy aromas of citrus, honey, some malts, and a touch of florals

medium bodied with a nice feel, but lacking a bit. Smooth with flavors of honey, creams, and citrus

a solid tripel. Lacking a bit on both the smell and feel, but a very drinkable beer. Sadly there are better tripels that are around the price though

Great drinkable beer. Very soft, but nice alcohol keeps the tension. Is there Corsendonk yeast in it?

L: good top, could last a little longer? Golden colour.
S: grandma's apple pie! Vanilla, bread, cinnamon, raisins, butter: exactly the same recipe plus some malts.
T: soft, almost no bitterness, in line with the smell.
M: if it would have a little bitterness and extra body it would be a 5. Lovely though.
O: I love this beer.
