Pours a crystal clear, attractive gold with a decent head at first. Retention is below-average, and there's no lacing to be found.
The aroma is very grainy, little bit of sulfur. Where's that classic Heineken skunked aroma?
The flavor is stale, with a musty hop character. Not too bitter, with a lingering grainy sweetness, husky really. Watery mouthfeel, though the carbonation is smooth and pleasant.
Heineken is a completely different beer out of the can: it's not skunked but it still leaves a lot to be desired. I'd rather drink a 'Gansett or PBR.

I have tried many Heineken Lagers in my life, whether it was in a plethora of location in the United States or in Amsterdam, and they all have the same taste and charistics. It pours straw yellow clear, with an average soapy head, that sticks around for a short while. It always has had a skunky taste that hides the malt, it does not have a strong edge, and it goes down easy.
