Poured from a 12 oz brown bottle into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass. Reviewed from notes.
A: Very slightly hazy golden with short-lived nearly white 1-finger head with decent retention and spotty lacing.
S: Sweet Pilsner malt with light herbal hopping, a light fruity berry yeast ester
T: Flavor is cleaner than the aroma with mostly herbal, earthy hopping carrying things but with ample grainy slightly sweet pilsner malt character as well. Low bitterness.
M: Light and easy to drink with moderate carbonation.
O: A good kolsch but like many of them comes off a bit bland.

12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Such a delicate beer, has all of the traits of what is Kolsch is supposed to be. Pale hued with a nice froth on top. Clean palate with bready overtones and a spicy hop character to back it up. Crispness is near a perfect level, super drinkable as well. A damn tasty and super crushable brew.

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and golden yellow in color with a white, quarter-finger width head. Sub-par retention leaves a mostly barren surface with a few patches of suds found across the surface. Nothing in terms of lacing.
Smell - The aroma is bready with slightly spicy, slightly grass hop character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bread and spicy hops hit the tongue first. Lesser notes of grass and caramel come into play by mid-taste. Bready in the finish with a faint hint of bright citrus character.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium body with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Fairly crisp and dry in the finish.
Overall - Tasty, smooth and highly drinkable. This is a damn solid kolsch all-around. Not an especially exciting style to begin with, but kolsch lovers should find this one quite favorable.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and some faint pale golden yellow highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready + cereal grain malts with slightly less than moderate aromas of spicy + floral hops.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of bready + cereal grain malts with minimal amounts of sweetness .That is followed by moderate flavors of spicy + floral hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly.
M: Light to medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Very crisp with the slightest hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink and quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Enjoyable with well hidden alcohol.

12 oz bottle filled 6/14/16 poured into a pint glass. Clear, straw gold with two finger fluffy white head that retains for a a good portion of glass, with lace hanging down the side. Smells is of grains and lemon zest. The taste is mainly wheat and bread notes with some floral aspects. Mouthfeel is medium light, with a medium to low level of carbonation. Overall, a very easy drinking Kolsch for the hot months.
