Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a Terrapin pint glass.
Appearance: Slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Good retention. A little watery-looking, but not too bad.
Smell: Citric. No malt to be found here, just a rather subdued hop aroma.
Taste: See above. It's quite enjoyable, but there's no kick to it at all. I would not have thought this was an IPA if the bottle didn't tell me it was; it's more like a standard pale ale with maybe a bit more hoppiness.
Mouthfeel: Not too thick, not too thin. Nice and tangy. Probably the best thing about this beer.
This isn't a beer that I'd refuse if it were offered to me, but I wouldn't seek it out. It's not very representative of its style, but taken on its own merits, it's a perfectly good beer.

12 oz bottle into a pint stein.
A: Clear amber with about two fingers of foamy white head. Good lacing on the way down. Not quite the traditional IPA, but very nice appearance nonetheless.
S: Herbs, some citrus, and light floral hops. Not a traditional IPA smell, a lot lighter on hops. Very refreshing, almost "spring like."
T: Light hops present. This isn't an IPA. More citrus, like lemon and grapefruit. Again, I get the "spring and flowers theme." I like it, but it's NOT an IPA. At all. I didn't get the bitterness or astringency some others noted.
M: Light to medium body, not filling, but not watery either. Nothing like I'd think of when I think of an IPA.
I have no idea what they were going for here., It's not an IPA, but it's a good beer.
