Hazy gold topped with a fluffy, frothy white head that rapidly deflates to a bubbly cap. Lovely, authentic wit aromas of coriander, lemon, orange peel, sweet floral notes, and spicy wheat. Even some mild fragrant nobel hops are noticeable. The only knock is that it's pretty mellow overall. Spices, citrus zest, and coriander hit the tongue...a fine sweetness through the middle complements the spiciness nicely. Wheaty tartness, herbal/earthy hops - crisp and medium-light. Some light creaminess. Nicely done Highland...

Pours a cloudy golden color with a head that stays to a ring with no lace.. the aroma is a grain husk, slight skunk, yeast, faint orange, banna and clove.. the taste is thin slightly watery everything in the aroma with a slightly sweet orange and flower, pepper bite at the end.. Thin body and kinda dry.. I would like it better with more sweetness.. its ok but wouldn't get again.

A 12oz bottle with a bottled on date of 6.3.14

A - Yellow with clarity, lots of carbonation bubbles, and a 1/4 inch of head and lace left on the glass

S - Coriander, orange, belgian yeast, and spices

T - Orange peel and coriander are the most dominant, but this Wit has some uniqueness in that it is a bit spicier than a typical wit.

M - Light bodied and medium carbonation

O - A very tasty Wit. Definitely worth a try and great for the summertime!

Poured into a Funky Buddha Brewery snifter. Base of bottle says Filled 05/28/14.

A- Pours a medium golden color with a 1/4 inch white head that doesn't retain long before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and minimal surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves a broken ring behind.

S- Lots and lots of lemongrass. So much that it almost blocks out all of the wheat and yeast aroma. Almost has a Pine-Sol smell to it. Not bad, just overdone.

T- Flavor is more yeast forward with the wheat providing a decent backdrop for that and the lemongrass. Slightly rich, mostly fruity.

M- Slightly milky in texture with medium carbonation and a light body.

O- Not bad as far as Highland beers go but, as with most of their other offerings, I can name many other better representations of this style.
