A: Hazy golden. Small white head.
S: Lemon, belgium yeast
T: Lemon zest, citrus, I can taste the yeast, but the coriander doesn't come through so well. not bad.
M: Medium, small amount of carbonation
O: Overall, its not the best in the style, if you are looking for a great wit, look to something else. I love Belgium wits and this just doesn't cut it. It is definitely drinkable, but I'm glad I didn't buy a sixpack.

A-Pours a hazy bright yellow with a bright white head

S-lemon zest, coriander, and a hint of Belgian yeast

T-Essentially the same as the nose-lemon zest, coriander, citrus notes, and some Belgian yeast

M-light with about the perfect amount of carbonation, yet somewhat creamy

D-I could drink this all day.

I'm not a huge fan of this style, though its growing on me, but I really enjoyed this beer and could see myself drinking more of it in the future.

From the brewery that hangs their had on Scottish and English brewing techniques and taste. Are they completely out of their minds by stepping into the whimsical world of Belgium? ...well, Yes! But their Razor Wit hits the mark spot on!

Hazy with the common suspension of yeast and wheat employment, the ale allows just enough light to shine in order to give the beer a nice yellow glow. Topped with a creamy stark-white head the foam structure easily outlasts even the most patient session and adorns the glass with connective islands of lace.

Its big, perfumy nose erupts with citrus oils and soft spiciness. Freshly zested tangerine, lemon and apple peels set the stage while the delicate decoration of coriander, clove, and paradise seed rounds into the slight yet vibrant earthiness of fennel. A soft backdrop of powdered sugar graininess and white wine acidity tickles the nose heading into that first sip.

Confectioner's sugar sweetness attaches to the early palate and gives the overall taste and candied notion despite the citrus acidity, spicy pang and chardonnay-like alcohol heat. Its light grainy body keeps the beer "beery" and plays well into those terse glimpses of earthy hops. Lightly soapy in its perfume and peppery taste- the beer hits all the hallmarks of ultimate refreshment and character.

Medium-light throughout, its creamy upstart soon turns zesty as the carbonation erupts on the tongue. Turning warm, spicy, and lightly minty- the beer finishes semi-dry and clean, despite a linger of perfume.

Although the beer shows a lot of delicacy and grace, it pulls no punches. Its a full flavored fruit-spice balance that doesn't always play nice. -just as the Belgians would have had it.

A: Pours a hazy to cloudy pale straw yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some very faint lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy white head of larger bubbles that reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of lemon citrus, wheat, and coriander + clove.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of wheat with some slightly stronger flavors of lemon citrus and coriander + clove. Light hints of pasty Belgian yeast (something my wife always comments on when tasting).

M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp in the finish.

O: Easy to drink and not bad but definitely not the best beer in the style that I have tried. A little too citrusy and it did have a touch too present a flavor of paste from the yeast. Not quite as balanced as others between the wheat/spice/citrus.

12 ounce bottle from ABC. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma of mild citrus and subtle pineapple with big spice notes and cracker. The taste is citrus, coriander, faint ginger, wheat and toasted notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation, refreshing. Well done.

Pours a very cloudy yellow, which fades to transparent at the very bottom of the glass. The head is big and bright white.

The smell is yeasty, lemons and some spices.

The taste is lemon, cloves, pepper, sweet with just a hint of tartness.

The mouthfeel is smooth and light with light carbonation.

Overall a light and refreshing beer. Subtle flavour and just light all round.
