Poured from bomber into pub glass.

A: Hazy burnt orange color. Good sized off-white head. Looks malty, rich, and inviting. Good lacing. Very nice.

S: Citrusy hops, but not so much as to be sharp. A little spicy, with a light malt sweetness underlying.

T: Excellent. The smell comes through on the palate. The malt backbone is good. There's a perfect level of maltiness and a wonderful citrusy, herbal, spicy hop profile. Very bold and very balanced with some fruity hints as it warms. The interplay between sweet and bitter is very appealing to me in IPAs, and this delivers. Really good.

M: Medium to full bodied for the style. Carbonation level is perfect. A little slickness from the hop oils.

D: Probably not going to put back as much of this as some thinner IPAs, but most of the time I'd rather drink less of this than more of those. I had no problem finishing the bomber and enjoyed every moment.

IPA is a very widely interpreted style, and this is a really, really good IPA if you're wanting some body and some malt sweetness - and flavor - to balance the hop profile. It's very hoppy, and the hop flavors are a delight, but if you're seeking massive bitterness with the hops smacking the rest of the beer around so that it disappears like a little girl hiding under a table, this IPA probably isn't going to be your favorite. But for me, it's one of the best.

A: Golden brown. Analogous to Racer 5. Solid lacing. Yummy.

S: Great light fruity hoppy aroma. Smell is better than the taste.

T: A nice, IPA from a few years ago. Not an aggressive piney, grapefruit IPA. Just an IPA and nothing else. I appreciate there is no sugary aftertaste. I'd love to get to know this brew on a Wed or TH night.

M: I found this bomber FLAT. Some astringent flavors at the back end.

O: I'd definitely try this again as a draft. Not as a bomber.

A-Pours a hazy copper color. Head is nice. It leaves lacing and is relatively frothy but has some body to it.

S-Getting that standard citrus/dough combo. Citrus and green bitter grass and pine. Malt provides balance. Definitely hop-forward but the hop flavors do allow the malt to shine through at some moments.

T-Still finding balance. Bakery malt and citrus hops with more pine and grass than the nose led me to initially believe. Herbal hops too.

M-Fuller bodied in terms of the style. Booze hidden well. Bitter and dry. A mild resinous quality. Chewy to some extent.

O/D-Again, another reason for me to believe that the East Coast has some serious hoppy brews that can easily compete with many of these West Coasters. Good price though. I have had this exact beer before I swear; maybe a different label from a different brewery but this take on the IPA is everywhere.
