Full disclosure, this was the first brewpup I set foot in, and my brother is a long-time employee so it has a special place in my heart.
Big space with lots of tables and at least 30 seats at the bar with another 25-30 on the back bar that seperates the bar from the dining area. There are drawings on the back of coasters, Marin bicycle, and lots of photos on the walls (I'm in a couple photos).
Marin beer is pretty f'in good. Like a lot of brewpubs, there are some beers I don't care for (blonde, fruit beers) but a lot I like (IPA, Stout, Porter, Doppelweizen, barleywine.) In 15+ years I've never had an undrinkable beer here which says a lot IMO. Some beer are O.K., most are good, some are great and occasionally they are sublime.
I usually sit at the bar and ther service is quick and good.
Food here is typical brewery food but some things are really better than most brewpubs.
This a great brewpub that has stood the test of time (in American craft brew history at least) and isn't going anywhere. They may not be the most innovative or risk-taking with their beers but they are solid.

Visited today for lunch.
Atmosphere was good as it was a perfect day to have a seat outside in the shade.
Quality of the beer was solid.
Service was pretty solid even though there was a pretty full house outside. The server did not take time to chat until the end of round 3.
Selection was pretty good. I had the White Knuckle, cask IPA, and the San Quentin Stout. Thought they would have more available.
Food was solid. Burgers and onion rings were very spot on.
Overall value was good for the Bay area. Two burgers and 5 beers for just over $50.

This visit was last summer and looking back has an odd feel. The Giants were on and I remember thinking how they were two years removed from a World Series and that the Dodgers were in complete control of the division... but I digress.
Parking was somewhat difficult as I don't know if commuters like to stop here, but inside at least it didn't seem to be as packed. I tried a sampler and was happy with the beers I was presented, but not overly impressed. The place did have sort of a sports bar feel to it, and I was wondering if Huey Lewis and the News would be lurking around the corner somewhere. In short, a fun place to be serving good but not great beer. If you're in the area worth a stop and if I was in the area I would probably visit often.
