Kingdom Brewers IPA was served from a 22 oz bottle that was adorned with a simple label...found at the Co-Op in Burlington, VT. In a pint glass, the beer was a very hazy reddish orange color, and was topped by an ample white head. The nose was big, fresh, and juicy, with an acidic citric hoppiness: orange, lemon, lime, and a very nice balancing sweet honeydew melon aroma...fantastic. The taste yielded tasty lemon-lime-orange citric malts that pleased the palate with a refreshing acidic tartness, leading into a moderately bittered, citric zesty, lightly tart, juicy finish. The body was was medium full and the carbonation was peppy, working very well with the character of this beer. Drinkability was very good for the style. KB IPA is an easy going, though satisfyingly full flavored and balanced IPA that stands out among the crowd easily. A finely honed product.

Appearance: Opaque and dark orange, with a thick head that died down to become a ring of lace.
Smell: Fresh, grassy hop smell. Not bad.
Taste: Light body and carbonation, sort of watery. The taste was way too yeasty for an IPA, and it had that homebrew-ish mouthfeel with little or no aftertaste. Sort of dissapointing, maybe I didn't get a fresh sample...

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Perfectly balanced! Not too bitter or too sweet. Mouthfeel is thin, but good thin. There's something in the water up there in the North East Kingdom that makes damn good beer! This really is a first class IPA. Snatch these off the shelf if you're at Pearl St Beverage in Burlington.
