Well I rarely bother to review a pilsner, but in my opinion this is right up there with the best classic and easily available examples from Europe.

Appearance: I love the label/can design. 3 colors. Minimal design. No bullshit that we as craft beer drinkers are used to being bombarded with. Reminds me of a KMFDM album cover. Beer is fairly pale straw but more amber than a weaker pilsner variant. Head sticks around a good while in my Carlsburg stange glassware.

Smell: Nice bright crystal malts. Reminiscent of a cream cracker. A little bit of minty hops. No euro lager swill skunk and funk going on. Very clean on the nose even when allowed to warm to near room temp.

Taste: The malt is the hero here. very well balanced though near the finish with some decent hop presence. Once the beer warms up the taste lingers for a good while and it is very pleasant.

Mouthfeel: Nice acidic apple upfront. Rather bitter middle and semi juicy on the finish. Would like it to be a bit drier. Finish goes on and on though.

Overall: You can't do much better for a European Pils. Don't overlook this one - Right up there with Budvar and Pilsner Urquell

Had on tap at New World Tavern, Plymouth

Appearance: 1/4 head, medium carbonation, gold in color, clear

Smell: grass and honey

Taste: big dose of honey, grass and light hops in the background

Mouthfeel: sweet with slight bitterness in the finish, moderate carbonation, light bodied

Overall: Nothing too complex but a nice and light pilsner that I could have several glasses of. An excellent summer beer. Happy to have found this on draft.

Poured into a lager glass. On the lighter side of golden, with about a half-inch of head. A few flecks of lacing, a thin ring remains.

Nose is earthy, grassy hops, with a touch of flowers and honey.

A surprisingly earthy brew given the nose, but still the whole thing felt a bit reserved. Despite an overarching sweetness, the hops balance out the finish. Finishes dry and bready.

Mouthfeel is low-moderate body, moderate carbonation that gets you in the back of the throat. Easy to drink.

A tasty little pilsner, quite enjoyable to drink. Could have been a bit more robust, but still a very drinkable brew.

11.2oz bottle poured into a flute.

Pours a nice orange color with a small white head. Nose is malty sweet and creamy, very nice.

Taste is really malty creamy and smooth. It reminds me of budvar. It's got a mellow full mouthfeel. Overall a super tasty beer. Worth trying!

L: Pours brilliant straw under a 1” pure white foam collar that persiste and leaves good lace. S: Grainy Pils malt, flowery hops, no fruit, no esters, no diacetyl, initial sulfur aroma quickly fades. T: Crisp with a nice bitter accent especially on the end. Medium to a little above on the bitterness but its crisp and clean. The maltiness is light and clean. There is a clean Pils malt flavor that persists, lingers, sweetness is very mild. F: Light, medium carbonation,, creamy and smooth. O: Overall clean, refreshing, German hops, no fruit, light, good character, well balanced.

Appears a very pale straw golden hue, basically like watered down apple juice golden. Carbonation has fine bubbles streaming upward from the bottom of my 16 oz Gordon Biersch glass. Head forms thick and dwindles down leaving behind even thin lacing with each sip. Labeled a pils but definitely hits more along the lines of a Euro lager or pils than a German or Czech style. Aromatic starts off with a snappy skunky hop flow with grapefruit peel Saaz and herbal tones galore, light pale malt doesn't offer much sweetness here. Only clean mineral water notes with a touch of metallic character coming across my senses. Flavor wise this beer is clean with a crisp bitterness and dry finish, definitely a mass produced Austrian beer. Herbal skunk weed hop notes run rampant I can't even say pure Saaz here more cluster hops than crisp classic Noble hop flavors. Bone dry on the mouthfeel carbonation is crisp carries this light bodied pils well, but this just can't compete with the likes of Penn Kaiser Pils, Troeg's Sunshine Pils, or Stoudt's Pils. Drinkabiltiy, overall I could enjoy this occasionally but with Prima Or Pikeland in PA, I don't have to consider not so fresh imports from Germany or in this case Austria.

11.2 oz (.33L) bottle served in pint glass

A - normal for style: clear yellow amber like apple juice. White head with limited retention but lasting ring.

S - nice malty aroma with some caramel and no off odors.

T - normal for type. Clean malty flavor with some mild hop bitterness.

M - smooth and dry

A good pils with no flaws for style.
