Real grapefruit juice gives this deliciously refreshing Radler (mixed beer drink) its amber natural cloudiness and pleasant tangy taste. The refreshingly fruity taste makes Stiegl-Radler Grapefruit a wonderful thirst quencher.

Served in a tumbler.

I knew I wouldn't turn down a free pour of this (hell, I'm one of the apparent few that actually likes the lemon version), but I didn't think I'd actually be offered said pour. Fair enough. This stuff pours a lightly hazy golden-straw topped by a finger or so of white foam. The nose is a dead ringer for a can of Squirt or something, though faint hints of barley and grass sorta try to get themselves implied as well (with varying degrees of success). The taste brings in more of the same, though the grapefruit actually is tempered by a general sense of malted grain, keeping things less sweet than they could otherwise have been. The body is a very light medium, with a fairly active carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, it is what it is: a grapefruit-flavored pre-mixed radler. Yeah, it's sweet and carbonated like a soda, but it somehow doesn't overdo things too much (it definitely makes you rethink where the brink is/was/will be). I can say with some confidence that I (somewhat surprisingly) enjoyed this stuff.

Loved my first Stiegl Radler on tap at Bottles Bar in Lemont, IL. Obviously easy drinking; the grapefruit aroma is second to none. Finish is crisp, sweet, and memorable.
Will take a few cans home with me from their coolers.

If I am going to drink something under 4% in the summer, this is it. Tastes like real grapefruit juice in seltzer, not like beer. At 2.25%, it isn't something you drink to get tipsy. A summertime refresher. This is the beer you give to someone who hates beer. Not too sweet, but certainly sweeter than my bitter beers. A lakeside/poolside treat. (Birthday gift from Carrie and Erik.)

From Austria we have Stiegl's grapefruit radler. At 2.25% abv, this beverage pours a light and cloudy yellow with a short lived white head. The nose is clearly grapefruit, and it tastes like a grapefruit soda. If you like the fruit and want something refreshing, this is going to be a good time for you. It's not something fancy or complex.

500ml can served in a big snifter. Date code is 14031. No idea what that means.

Pours a moderately hazy pale yellowish with a small, wispy head. Smell is mostly grapefruit and lemon-lime.

Taste is similar, moderately sweet, with a slight grain flavor and a bit of a citrus zest bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Overall...I mean, it's hard not to like a reasonably well-made radler.

16.9 oz can.

Cloudy pale yellow color with a dense white head that leaves in a relative hurry.

Smells like fresh grapefruit, grapefruit juice, and a hint of orange.

The flavor is sweet citrus with a bit more restrained grapefruit juice character.

Light body. Lively carbonation. Absurd drinkability.

Overall this is a great radler. It's not full of complex flavors, but it comes exactly as you should expect. I could pound through a dozen of these.

On draught at Old Chicago.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a fine layer of foam.

Smells of juicy grapefruit both sweet and tart, wheat.

Taste is the same. Simple and so darn refreshing.

Light bodied, I reckon that I will drink plenty of this.
