A- Pours out super cloudy like a lemonade, which I guess makes plenty of sense. Head is super fizzy, between beer and soda (again) and bubbles away pretty quickly after forming to about a finger high. It all falls down to just a tiny ring that leaves almost no lace, not surprising in the least.
S- Smells just like you are cutting open a grapefruit, not quite that strong but still like a pretty fresh fruit. Some lemon and general citrus feel in there too. Some light beer maltiness in the background.
T- Strong grapefruit citrus up front but it doesn't dominate quite like it does in the nose. The fruit still feels nice and fresh and reminds me of a really good soda, I would like to try the base soda too. A general light malty and yeasty beer feel is diluted by the soda and shows up in the background.
MF- Highly carbonated and fizzy but impressively not as watery as I expected, still some silky feel to it. Fairly tart throughout in a super light end body.
Someone recommended this to me and I was somewhat skeptical but this is pretty good for what it is. Super refreshing and drinks like water, it goes down that easily. Good fresh grapefruit feel.

Enjoyed on tap at the Von Rothenburg Bier Stube. Served chilled in a Spaten 1.0 liter stein.
A) Super cloudy yellow brew. Came out with a finger of head, which quickly dissipated to nothing.
S) The aroma is big time sugared grapefruit. Like dried out candied grapefruit. Quite sweet, but very enjoyable.
T) Follows the nose... Although the finish brings out the citric bitterness and a bit of acidity. Wow... Grapefruit and beer is a good combo.
M) Solid medium bodied brew. I expected it to be lighter. Moderately carbonated. Good amount of citrus zest on the palate. Quite refreshing...
O) Shit.... If you love grapefruit, order this and enjoy. It's quite a tasty treat, and at 2.50 ABV, you can drink a boatload.
