11.2 oz. bottle acquired in the greater Washington D.C. area after a pilsner tasting, unknown bottling date, poured into my Snallygaster mug, drank 11/6/13 over a half-hour.

A: 2/3 - straw yellow-golden coloration, high clarity (can both see or read through), thin white head quickly fizzled out into almost nothing, no alcohol legs

S: 7/12 - clean lager yeast aroma, adjuncts (corn and/or rice), pretty standard for a light adjunct/adjunct lager

T: 14/20 - on the anterior tongue, there's little-to-no bitterness; in the middle of the mouth, the adjunct and lager yeast flavors kick in; clean aftertaste

M: 2/5 - moderate carbonation, thin-bodied (essentially watery), little alcohol presence

O: 5/10 - don't understand the appeal of this beer at all, and don't even understand how it scored as high as an 81 on this site (I guess only because it's a German import); to me, it's in the same league as the typical American adjunct lagers with lots of the same characters - little-to-no flavor - no flaws but totally innocuous; if for whatever reason you're looking for a German lawnmower beer, this would be a decent choice, but I cannot imagine ever purchasing this

Very clean body of pale pale pale yellow color. It has a nice bone white head on top that is not too big but not too small.

Smells appropriate to style. It has that grassy herbal hop aroma of a European lager. Slight malt/bread aromas coming through.

Very bready flavor from the get go. Somewhat bitter on the back end but much less than I expected. Very smooth and a bit dry. There's nothing crazy about it, but it is great. I can't find anything wrong with it except that it is kind of boring, but it's a lager.

Mouthfeel is very nice, not too full bodied. Extremely drinkable.

Pours a pineapple yellow with an active carbonation. Very little head at all. Smell is somewhat floral with a spicy citrus background.

This brew has a light body which won't win you over in the mouthfeel department. Not much to say about flavor except that each drink ends with an astringent twang. Very steel like. Save your money for a beer that actually has some flavor.

A-Pale yellow, crystal clear. Huge white head.

S-Sulfur from the yeast. Light malt. No hops.

T-Grainy with a slight saccarine sweetness. Very low hop bitterness. No hop flavor. More sulfur.

M-Fairly dry. Medium carbonation. Very light on the palate. Nice.

D-This could be a great session beer (or maybe is before it makes its trip across the Atlantic), but there is a slight sweetness that makes this beer stick around on the palate too long.

Super pale straw yellow in color. Tiny bubbles of carbonation rising to the surface.

Fluffy white head. Sticky lacing on the sides of the glass.

Smells fruity and a bit wine- like. No sulphur.

Tastes superb. This is a very delicate beer that was brewed to absolute perfection. No sulphur in the nose or mouth. Not even a hint of diacetyl.

Sweet mouthfeel. Slightly chewy but with a crisp, clean finish.

Give me a cold case of this an a warm summer day and I'm in heaven.

pours a clear golden yellow color.

A white head that fades as soon as its poured.

Smells like a light lager. A little lagery/bready sweetness.

Mouthfeel is very well carbonated. gentle bubbling all the way across the mouth. A crisp finish

Taste is pretty nice. Bready sweetness but light. Crisp tasting and pretty good per style. I would drink this one again.

I picked this up without ever hearing about the beer and just thinking it had an interesting label.
It poured yellow with a decent white head and a slight sweet and malty smell that is not very common with American lagers.
The taste is light with some wheat & fruit undertones. No real aftertaste and an overall good experience. I plan on trying this again sometime soon.

The bottle I have is labeled "Light Malt Liquor," presumably due to retarded US (or Texas) labeling laws.

The beers pours a straw yellow color with a slight haze. Moderate head. The aroma is lightly malty with a hint of noble hops and wisp of sulfur from the yeast. The flavor shows a moderate maltiness with a grainy edge (that I like). There's a noticable amount of alcohol evident, which is likely why it had to be labeled a malt liquor, but it is not overwhelming or distracting. (I'd guess it's right around 6% ABV.) The hopping level is slightly above what many similar German beers show, although it isn't hoppy by American microbrew standards. The beer has a full mouthfeel, even when cold, and the malty/grainy character clings briefly in the aftertaste.

This is a beer I would go to if were going to have a few, but not a bunch, and was in the mood for a nice, quaffable lager. I could see it being a great pair with spicy Vietnamese or Thai food.

Good lager smell with small particles of yeast floating throughout the bottle. Very healthy level of carbonation with a clean and smooth mouth feel. Nothing extraordinary here but an overall great refreshing German lager. Best served ice cold on a hot day.
