Poured a 355-ml bottle into a long tulip glass.
Appearance - bright gold with foamy white head. Active carbonation highly visible.
Smell - very fresh pilsner aromas, light and lively hop scents as well as a hint of green apple.
Taste - malty crisp taste, reminds me a little of Pilsner Urquell and some other fire-brewed malt flavoured beers. Nice lasting finish of snappy hops.
Mouthfeel - fairly even flavours but not smooth. The front of the tongue bears the brunt of this concoction and the bitters are tart on the palate.
Drinkability - overall this is a pretty impressive beer. If it was just a little sweeter and bready it would be a close match for Pilsner Urquell. That's a compliment since P.U. is a world-class beer.

this beer is not retired they still make this craft pilsner good change from what your all year around cheaper pilsner you can get at times watching the game or at home doing whatever you want . most pilsners you can get are made by GW or Molson but the Molson pilsner was use to be called Lethbridge Pilsner it was very long time ago before Molson took over it.
so that Pilsner from Molson makes was from Alberta at time but now it's not it's made at Molson. this beer still great whish make more of these in 12's or 6's.

Sampled on tap at Fionn Macool's - very pleased to find a pub with the good taste to have Paddock Wood on tap. This is a very enjoyable Pilsener - clear, golden, with a nice floral/citrus/Saaz nose. There are plenty of layers to the flavours here. The biscuit malt provides a good base, there are grapefruit whispers, and a lovely, mouth-pleasing hop finish. This is easily one of my favourite Canadian-made Pilseners.

Pours light gold with around three fingers of off-white head. Aroma is biscuit malt and floral, spicy hops with a touch of citrus tang. Taste is surprisingly complex, a hops forward pils with Saaz spice but also some light grapefruit with a lingering bitter finish. A touch of white grape and sour candy. Nice oily mouthfeel. Really complex and interesting for a pils, almost ale-like in terms of fruity notes which presumably derive from the hops. Purists might quibble a bit but in my view this is what a good pils should involve: Obvious pale malt but also some hoppy punch to add nuance. Nice work and perhaps Paddock Wood's best along with Loki.
