Went there at 9:30 p.m. on a Friday. Very industrial loft feel to the place. High ceilings with pipes showing, stainless steel, etc. I sort of liked it. Rather large place. Casual dress.
Definitely a loud [music], lively place. Sort of a brewpub that also wants to have a hip edge. Lots of TV's around. There is also a stage area where they must have live music. Even had a mirror ball hanging [not typical brewpub iitemf]
We were seated promptly. Service was attentive throughout our stay.
They had 6 MC brews: Las Vegas lites, Winners Wheat, Jackpot Pale, High Roller Red, Silver State Stout and a Belgian wit [seasonal]. I believe they also had some macro stuff in bottles.
Food was pretty standard: Burgers, sandwhiches, pizza, salads. A simple, straitforward menu. We had a couple of appetizers: BBQ Wings and Calamari. Wings were very good and a good sized serving. Clamari was a huge serving but only OK tasting. [FYI: full menu served until 10 p.m., after that they have the Wings, Nachos & Quesidallas].
Overall, it is worth a stop if you are there. I tried the stout [good] and the wit [not good].

Getting non-macro beer in hotels on the Strip is often quite challenging, and there are very few places to stop and get some beers without losing money on gambling at the same time. Thankfully the Monte Carlo has this brewpub.
As of 2007, the Brewery is shut down. Taking its place will be a Brew Pub offering as many as 150 beers on tap. That is probably a better idea since the beer they made wasn't interesting, just different compared to other casinos. I will post a new review after my next stop (March Madness).

While this is more than I expected to see in a casino from a restaurant, it wasn't a very impressive brewpub. They had the usual range of choices, about 6 or 7 i think, and the stout I had first was good. Unfortunately they serve no IPA, and were out of the pale ale for my entire stay. Also, while they allegely serve all these brews on the casino floor, each time I ordered one the drink lady brought me back another dusty "Winner's wheat". The price was right, but once again, I expected more.
The food was average, nothing special. And the atmosphere was rather dead at the early hour of the afternoon we arrived at. It's very open inside with high ceilings covered in exposed pipes and has some brewtanks visible in one of the back corners. There was also a rather large stage situated in the middle of the far wall of the place. I would imagine that this place would be more enjoyable at night with a live performance. Overall, if you're at the Monte Carlo anyways, it can't hurt to stop by.

The annual trip to Vegas included some beery places along the way. As I'm too lazy and/or gambling-prone to leave the strip area, most of the places like this get included.
Unfortunately, I left a bit uninspired by the Monte Carlo Brewery. Besides the fact that it is within short stumbling room of the great pool, it comes off with a dark, batcave vibe. It is bright enough by the entrance to take in the brewing equipment. Ample enough size to fit plenty of folks, though it always appears empty when we've visited.
I hate to say it, but the service was the worst, with people not very attentive or knowledgable. Questions concerning seasonals were skewed during the answer to attempt to get us to purchase a "giraffe" of brew.
Beer was well done and served just right. Had a half dozen of the typical brewpub mix, with the stout being the best of the group.
Majority of their brews are available while on the casino floor, which is a plus. Several sixers were enjoyed at the craps table.

This was a neat place, and a nice place to go have a drink out if your out walking around looking at all the casinos. I went in the afternoon, and it was very relaxing and calm, just a good place to hang out for a while. At night they have live music so I would imagine the place is a bit different then.
The food was good, just normal brewpub fare, with reasonable prices. The beer was good, with a variety of styles, so it shouldn't be hard to find something that you like, or you can try a sampler.
Service was excellent, with friendly and informative staff.

My fourth brewpub in 24 hours, matching my previous record set in San Francisco...
This place was pretty hard to find when entering off LV Blvd. You have to wind your way through the casino. Once you are there, though, the casino is pretty much left behind. Set off with a stainless bar (chairs kinda uncomfortable) and lots of TVs, there was plenty to see and people to talk to.
They offer six beers and will serve them in a giant tube with a urn-style tapper. Wasn't drinking with a group, so I didn't try one.
They are currently celebrating their 10th anniversary with a special glass for 7.95 and 3.00 refills. Also with a Belgian Wit. Took advantage of the glass. The Wit wasn't bad either.
Ordered food from a pretty extensive, reasonable priced menu (also stainless). The food came quickly and tasted pretty good. Spent time talking to the bartender about the various beers and the couple next to me about the restaurants in the area.
Overall, I'd say this was a good place to go to get away from the sensory overload of the slots, etc. Especially when a good game is on. They even showed Illinois-Iowa football. I'll come back next time I visit.

This was another stop during my bachelor party celebration. We were there in the afternoon, so it was relatively quiet and we sat in the back next to the windows that overlooked the pool area (great view!). The bar is quite large with high ceilings and appears to have a second floor balcony area. The stainless steel and chain-link fence motif is a little odd though. The beers were all decent with a pretty good selection. The food was above average and prices were reasonable for the strip. Service was good, even with a waitress change during our visit. The casino area is nice, but pretty much the same as any of the large casinos on the strip. However, the casino at the Monte Carlo has one great advantage, you can get the brews from the brewpub on the casino floor! Being able to drink a decent fresh microbrew while gambling more then made up for the fact that I was losing more then I was winning that night. I think it would be great to stay at the Monte Carlo during our next visit.

Atmosphere was decent, very long bar, dance floor, very loud music. When i was there at around midnight, there were music videos playing on the HD Tvs all over. The quality was decent. I tried 3 of the house brews, Winner's Wheat, High Roller Red, and Belgian Wit and they were all above average. Service was ok, quick refills once I had established myself as not being some punk kid (I'm only 23), but wasn't impressed initially with the short dry answers I got about the house brews. Selection was decent, mainly confined to their housebrews (5 active), and a lot of macros, but there were some Euro pales and some more of the common German beers.

BA Xadoor's bachelor's party: Day 2
We made our way to the Monte Carlo on a surprisingly not hungover Friday afternoon. After a morning filled with casino beers (I don't care how much you like SA Boston Lager) sometimes a respite is needed. And it was with this attitude that we headed over to the Monte Carlo on a Friday afternoon.
We arrived around 2 p.m. hungry and ready for a few beers. As the place was less than half occupied, getting a table proved no challenge at all. We were promptley seated at the very back of the brewpub with a decent view of the pool (a few people more than enjoyed this view, myself included). The brewpub itself is a spacious cold environment, stainless steel being the choice material here. Food and beer were above average, with a fine burger and decent stout being on the menu for me. The stout was the second best Vegas brew I had over the weekend, while the burger left me full for the rest of the night. The service was prompt and friendly, but the real charm of the Monte Carlo lies outside of the brewpub.
After finished our food and a few pints, we decided to hit the floor for a little gambling before heading back to our hotels and ultimately the MGM Grand for a nice show for the guys (La Femme). Availble on the floor were several Monte Carlo brews, although the stout was absent. A few pints of the MC amber were just what was needed to assauge my pains of losing yet more money.
Overall, I give the Monte Carlo Brew Pub my thumbs up. Decent beers and decent food easily accessible on the the strip. I'll definitely be back.

I've been to this brewpub a number of times on trips to Vegas. I've tried quite a number of their beers, and while I can't say I've ever had a bad beer...I can also say I've never had one that was overly memorable. It's a big place, & usually pretty crowded..and like anything in Vegas takes a small hike to get to since you have to traverse the casino to get to it..and it's all the way in the back corner of the hotel. The food has generally been good as well. Overall, it's a decent place but next time I'm in town I will probably try some of the other/newer establishments before heading back.
