33cl Bottle: BBD 11th Jan 14. Poured into it's own chalice on 16th Nov 13 while at home.
Lovely brown body with a slight ruby hue: on top a deep and full beige head of foaming bubbles.
Sweet malt molasses in the nose: other cereals in there too.
The taste has a huge sweet front, treacle, toffee and caramel, becoming a little more dry and bitter towards the end of each alcoholic sip. The body is both rich and smooth and it's far to easy to drink.
Taken with a cream herb cheese and salted crackers: seemed to work fine.
Serving type: bottle
