Pours a bright, clear golden color, just a shade darker than the average pilsner. A foamy, dense head blends into a lasting, thick lacing down the sides of the glass. Moderate settlement at the bottom of the 750ml bottle. The nose is light and floral with some very slight sweetness among the malt.
The taste is sharp and bright, moderately hopped. More floral tastes emerge along with a small amount of fruit and citrus that become more prominent as it warms. Sweet without cloying and the alcohol lies buried deep in the tastes, unoffensive.
Second pour (with the yeast) is bright, cloudy orange with a thicker head. Tastes are a little more aggressive, a little fruitier, a little yeastier. Some very faint, bitter spices and orange rind is hidden in this second pour, also.
Medium on the palate with a noticable carbonation, very drinkable. Finish is smooth and on the dry side with the malts becoming more apparent. Slight buttery taste. Overall, a very mild and pleasant triple despite its ABV.
