Hand carried bottle from TN
Appearance: Strong back light shows a thin brown ruby edge to a black glass. Spots of tan foam lace a bit but don't give a full cover.
Aroma: Fresh hop leaves, citric and a little pine. Some roasted barley and a white bread yeast note.
Taste: Big hop presence which I enjoy, Some alkalinity and cola flavor gives it some bite. Enough sweet base to keep everything very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium low carbonation, clean finish, slight warmth.
Overall: Killer beer. Great balance of roasted black and bright green hop. Wish I could get more, highly recommended.
