2010 Vintage. Best before date of 08/11/2030. 375ml corked and caged bottle poured into a Palm tulip. Sat for about 30 minutes after refrigeration. Reviewed on 06/26/2011
A - Deep golden color. Huge white head formed on pour which resided to just lacing around the edges. This sat for 2 weeks after I purchased it, but I still swirled the last 2 oz around and poured it in making it cloudy. Some small bits of sediment and yeast on bottom of the glass. 3.5/5
S - Lemons, apples, funk, and lots of Belgian yeast. Fairly one dimensional. 3.5/5
T - Sour apples and lemon rind. Moderately sour and dry with a nice funky aftertaste. Refreshing and delicious. 4.0/5
O - A nice mid range gueze. I liked this a bit better than the lindemans cuvee rene. Would definitely pick up some more for the cellar. 4.0/5
2002 Vintage. Best Before: 14 03 2022, L2037 Z13. 375ml C+C bottle into a tulip glass. Cork was WEDGED in there, but eventually opened with a faint pop and some smoke.
A - Amber body with a sudsy one finger white head. 4.0/5
S - Super aromatic. I can smell this beer from a few feet away. Crazy amounts of brett funk and some fruit sweetness. Mostly diapers and hay. Not pleasant 2.0/5
T - Oh god. This beer is not good. Starts off with a bit of fruitiness and then some weird roasty notes come into play. Its almost chocolate like and bitter. Very odd. The finish is of rancid lemons and manure. 2.5/5
O - Huge disappointment. This is the oldest lambic I have tried by about two years, but it seems to be over the hill. I'm a big fan of the funk, but this is just difficult to drink. 2.5/5

375ml bottle served in a flute glass.
A: Pours a yellow to orange color. A little bit cloudy. Lots of carbonation coming from the bottom. Forms a big and very bubbled (alive) white head. Fizzy with a great retention but only few lacings formed and left in the glass
S: Smell is quite grainy and fruity. Characteristic Lambic character. Notes of pale fruits like white grapes, apples and peaches. Vinegar. Sour with a metallic and slightly flowery hops in the end
T: Strong notes of fruits and pale malts in upfront. White grapes, apples and peaches. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of Lambic yeasts. In overall, a quite dry taste. Sour and vinegar but not overwhelming. Quite smooth, I would say. Lovely Gueuze
M: Light and carbonated body. Malty, fruity and mainly metallic aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Great Gueuze. Lambic fans will really enjoy it as I did...
