This is essentially Sprite beer. If you like sprite and want it as a beer, then this is for you!
Otherwise, if you want a beer this is pretty nasty. It is syrupy sweet like a soda and the carbonation adds to that feel.
I felt like I might as well have been drinking a wine cooler.

Girly lemon beer, probably not meant for the serious beer connaisseur.
Lemon colour, white head. Hazy.
Smell is of apple cider, riesling wine, lemon, lemon peels.
Taste is similar. It's got a slight dry finish to it. It's not too sweet.
No alcohol detected. Refreshing overall.
This beer does have an artificial taste to it, which makes it unpleasant in the finish. Overall it's not as bad as I expected though, reading some of the other comments upfront.

Small brown 25cl bottle with 5 months life left on opening. Poured into 'Hougaerdse DAS' tumbler.
Hazy pale yellow, I'd see a doctor if I passed this. The head, if there was one, left before I saw what colour it was.
Lime and lemon aroma, like a fizzy pop smell, sweet and unhealthy.
Very sweet for a citrus flavoured drink (notice I didn't say beer there?). The front label has a slice of lemon and lime as a picture, so you shouldn't be surprised to hear that is what it tastes of.
Syrupy sweet, sickly and I needed to clean my teeth after drinking it.
This is youngsters alco-pop sort of thing, not a serious beer drinkers choice.

Appearance - Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a massive foamy/fizzy white head. I can't see much carbonation, and there seems to be some pretty decent lacing. The head lasted for 5 minutes or so.
Smell - lemons, sugar, wheat
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and the beer has a very sugary sweet and slightly bitter lemon taste. I'm not really sure that this qualifies as a beer - seems more like a lemon soda. There is a hint of wheat but the flavour is basically all lemons and sugar.
Overall - It's not horrible.. I've had some other fruit beers that were just way too sweet, this one at least has a little bit of balance. I would never have purchased this beer but it was a gift. I wouldn't have it again.

Appearance - Hazy pale yellowish with a big head that quickly disappears. Lots of carbonation!
Smell - Sweet with artificial lemon and lime.
Taste - Sweet, artifical taste of lemon and some lime, a bit sourness as well. An unpleasant taste of c-vitamin supplements that you dissolve in water
Mouthfeel - The sweet taste sticks in your mouth. It's carbonated a lot and has a light body.
Maybe a beer for a hot summer day but I'm thinking about spritzing some lemon into a Hoegaarden Wit would be much nicer!

Beer bottle (25cl.), tasted in 2006.
Appearance : yellow trouble color, with a white foam head.
Smell : Lemon ! an artificial aroma and flavor with notes of lime.
Taste and mouthfeel : the lemon-lime covers all flavours
Drinkability : a very bad example of a witbier, brewed by Hoegaarden.

gak. wtf. Got this little number from the corner store across the street from the train station in Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium. Shoulda left it there. Poured with a nice big foamy textured head and some lace. Funny looking hazy pale yellow color. Aroma = lemon pledge mixed with sauerkraut farts. You in a situation where you need to leave? open some cans of this. Whew. Pepe Le Pew wears this as an aftershave. flavor's not near so bad. Not saying much. Just have to put this down the drain and give my apologies to the sewer.Pierre Celis where are youuu?

Poured from a can purchased at a restaurant on the top of the Atomuium in Brussels (that oversized iron atom in one of the parks there, former site of a world's fair I guess...1958?...) into a clear plastic cup (the best thing that I could find up there).
A Soft, fluffy white head reminds me of whipped egg over a lemonade, slightly cloudy body. I like this look.
S Lemon lime, inviting, refreshing. It is certainly different as far as the smell, from other beers. The lemon lime crossed over a bit into a mediciny smell (alka-seltzer?) which I did not like so much.
T Ya know, like a Hoegaarden with lemon lime flavoring. I don't mean to be trite but it tastes exactly like I thought it would in that way. I think that Hoegaarden (the original) is an excellent starting point for a flavored beer and this beer shows that to be the case. The lemon lime did get to be a bit too much as I sipped on, edging into an unwelcome mediciny taste (again, alka-seltzer?)
M Light with that lemon lime taste and very low ABV.
D Good, especially on the hottest of days but it was too close to alka-seltzer to really be drinkable.
Notes: Cool to sample this beer a top the Anotomia in Brussels.
