Domenico's has the largest beer selection in the Cranberry Area. When I first learned that Domenico's had a big beer selection I about kicked myself. It's been under my nose for years and I never knew.

They have around 20 taps in which 10 are usually micro or imports. The selection comes and goes, sometimes there are 8 beers that I want to try, others there is only 1.

Domenico's also has 120 different beers in its cooler, out of the 120 I'd say that over 80 are quality micro or import beer.

The food is good, normal pizza shop restaurant cuisine. The atmosphere is friendly, happy hour and weekends are popular times.

Update: Their draft selection has gone down hill since I first reviewed Dominico's. Now they only have one or 2 craft beers it seems.

Stopped in after work on a Friday and the place was a hopping! Lots of people, but you did not have to push your way to the bar. There is a decent amount of seat to the right as you enter the restaurant. Up the steps and to the left is the large bar area. It is a long U-shaped bar with tables and booths along the wall. They have flat screens all around the bar as well.

The service. Well, the place was packed and there was 2 bartenders working the bar and the seats around the bar. If you watched, these two busted their butts all night long, but there was just too much going on. Servce was a little slow, but it had nothing to do with the people working, there just wasn't enough of them. The bartender was extremely polite and nice.

Selection: The selection isn't going to floor you, there are no 'whales' but the selection offers a wide variety of beers. They have about 20 beers on tap, about 10 are craft beers, they other are you standard BMC's. They do have a decent selection of craft bottles and bombers.

The prices are quite reasonable for beer and for food. We had the pizza, which was extremely good. I would reccomend the pizza to anybody.

This is a decent place to go after work or for some pizza. Solid beer selection and great pizza. Sounds like a good combination.

Domenicos is where I first learned about the Microbrew world and considering that was in the early 90's I was learning a relatively new thing. For that I am grateful for this place.

A--Much better since smoking has been banned. However, not a place I would go out of my way to "hang out" at, but certainly fine.

Q--Good quality, fresh beer and food.

S--At times service can be a bit slow, but generally is solid.

S--As time has gone on and I have expanded my experience in craft beer, I realize the selection is solid, not spectacular. Always have around a dozen beers on tap which normally are fine. Maybe two are slightly "unusual" The good news in they have a pretty good bottle list. Plenty of imports and micros. You can find plenty of choices here.

F--Very surprised the food did not get better ratings. The Pizza is sublime, yes, sublime. Great Italian entrees and a very extensive menu. I probably should give it a 5 but might be a bit high.

Well arriving in Cranberry to visit my companies office I went to BA to see if there was anyplace at hand with a decent selection of beer. Spotting Domenico's and seeing it was within 2 miles of my hotel I set out. It's a rather unassuming building in a strip mall. It's nice and clean, but no real atmosphere of any type. I can't speak for the table service as I sat at the bar, but the bartender was very helpful and the food and beer came out in good time. They had a rather mundane set of beers on tap, but did have Penn Weizen, Smithwicks, and Guinness. Their bottle selection was much better. I sampled Belhaven Scottish Ale, John Smith's Taddy Porter, and Coopers Extra Stout. The food was very good, They offered a lot of pasta dishes, but I sampled their Drunken Mushrooms and a Blackened Blue Cheese Steak. All in all a reasonable place to get a good beer and a decent meal.

As others have noted, this is about the only place for microbrews in the area. I typically stop in during happy hour when drafts are 1/2 price and it's 1 buck off all bottles. They usually only have about 15 taps running with a typical list something like Guinness, Bass, Boddingtons, Stella Artois, Sam Adams, Rogue Dead Guy, and maybe a Hop Devil or some other large scale micro. Everything else is macro filler. 60 bottles or so, but I doubt they get much turnover. They also incorrectly listed Troeg's as being from the UK. Oh well. The bartenders work really quickly. Not bad, but the atmosphere is poor and you usually have to sit next to Joe Bob with his IC Light and smokes. The appetizers are horrible, but if you like eating deep fried shit covered in more shit, you may think differently. I've heard the restaurant menu is better.

Working North of Pittsburgh on occasion, I was pleased to find this place a couple blocks from my hotel.

Last visit was after a Steeler's preseason game. Good younger crowd at the bar. Twenty taps, but as has been reported only 3 or four craft brews. Victory Hop Devil was on tap and delicious.

Fine bottle selection, nothing exotic but some good regional beers decent imports among the 50 microbrews and 70 foreigners on the menu.

A tap handle collection and scads of beer signage help round out the atmosphere.
