This place is a rip-off. One of my friends won a happy hour so we drove an hour to get here. When we arrived, I asked what was included in the happy hour admission of $12. They say well drinks. I then ask which drafts, and they said any draft under $5. So I pay the $12, and go to the bar, and they are only willing to serve me Yuengling lager or Bud Light. $12 for an hour of Yuengling/Bud Light is a rip.

They had some Yards/Victory for $5, but they said it wouldn't count since the offer was only for beers under $5. They would not prorate or discount.

Music was awful. It was very packed and I had to wait for everything I ordered. There were a lot of drunk college kids puking at 10:30pm while we were there.

It's hard to find a decent bar in a small college town sometimes. This is certainly not it. Went here on a Friday night over Christmas break. Every bar was PACKED, but Kildare's did not handle it as well as some of the others.

I have been here during the early evening when it's less crowded, and the barkeep is indeed friendly when not under stress. But still not worth the trip with Spence Cafe and Iron Hill Brewpub a few blocks away. It really is just anther Irish Bar knock off.

I really don't even know why BA has this bar on their website. It's one of A million, not one IN a million.
