Bottle code says L155A.406.25, a best by date. I'm guessing the L stands for year 2102 and 155 is the julian date, so this is quite old. Also, the cap says Hefetraub but the bottle label is what I see here. Confusing.
A- it pours a hazy straw yellow, big ole head of foam that leaves some nice lacing.
S- I smell wheat, cloves/other spices, not much else.
T- good notes of wheat, light on the cloves, hints of banana. The age of the bottle probably killed off the beer's vibrant flavours but....this is still a joy to drink.
M- medium bodied with plenty of carbonation.
O- drinking this makes me wonder what it's like fresh. As is, it is very tasty and quaffable.
