Nice for the style. Dark brown color. High stable head. Aroma of dried fruits, toasted malty taste, a bit of hops too.

Picked up in a corner shop in St. Petersburg, so surprised it's Belorussian. Pours a dark cherry colour with a brown head. Aromas of caramel & malt. Tastes of caramel, cinnamon & sweet malt. Feel is of low to medium carbonation. Overall not something I'd say was a Dunkel from the taste alone, but a nice enough one off beer.

Available with new ABV 4.8%. Contains sugar & sugar color. Nice violet label. Poursexcellent clear reddish-brown beer with good golden 3-finger head. Smell is disappointingly poor (wet cardboard) with hints of caramel. Taste is sweet and full caramel with decent hop bitterness. Weren't it apart of Olvi PLC, it's production could be better (without strange ingredients). Anyway, it's a good beer.

500ml bottle. Dinkel Acker Lager glass. Enjoyed on jun´12. Dark amber color. Beige, foamy crown. Slowly dissipated. Caramel malt & sugar aromas, slightly metallic odor. Very sweet toasted malt flavor, some bitterness & fruits in the middle, hints of licorice. Light body, medium carbonation. Sweet malty & sugary finish. Easy drinkability, it´s sugary but no cloying. Nice pairing with tuna or codfish salad.

Comes in a standard brown half-liter bottle with a brown and gold label featuring nothing but writing. Most of the information is in Russian, but the word “beer” appears in ten languages. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 12/2/03, I opened it on 10/19/03.

Pours an attractive brownish golden amber under a thin off-white head that fizzles quickly down to film across the top and leaves only a few spots of lace. The nose is very pleasantly full of caramel. The mouth is prickly and medium-bodied. There’s a good strong sweet caramel taste in the opening, chased by a significant hoppy bitterness. The aftertaste is hoppy bitter on top of a sweet caramel background. This is a very well-balanced, tasty brew, of which Belarus should be proud.
