Pours a sort of bland amber color. Small streams of carbonation make their way to the dirty light tan head. Head is pretty reserved, thins to less than 1/2 finger width in just a few moments, despite a more aggressive pour. I can see some sheeting from the head forming already. Smell is sweetly with hoppy with a solid amber malt bill providing the background. Slightly nutty or doughy. Nicely done hops nose, striking a good balance between floral and citrus. Some digging reveals just a slightly vegetably character deep in there, but overall it has the pleasant nose of a APA. Taste is initially semi-fruity with green apples and tangerines and a noticeable sweetness, mid-palette is a swelling malt profile of doughy nuttiness and slight caramel, and the finish strikes a good balance between the two, ending ever so slightly bitter. Not very complex, straight forward and totally acceptable, just doesn't have any "pop" to it to make it stand out among the countless other APA available. Feel is a tad rough, carbonated. Just medium bodied, with a slight carbonation burn on the tongue.
Overall a perfectly acceptable APA from Bristol, just sort of bland and faceless. Blends in with the scenery too much to really be recommended above others.

A&S: White fluffy head that pours about a half a finger and retains as specks on top. Leaves tiny bits of lacing. Beer is a semi-lively full orange color. The aroma consists of sparse citrus hops and a heavy malt component, and some mild sweetness.
T&M: Little too malty. Lacking in the hop department. A little heavy on the palate due to its high malt content. Pretty bland. On the light side of medium body, on the low side of medium carbonation.
Overall: Not super drinkable. It wasn't like this beer is awful, I just wouldn't seek it out again and wouldn't recommend for the style (much better options out there).
