Nice upsidedown waterfall with thick creamy darker head, pitch black no light coming through.

Nose brings some roast although lighter and not burnt, light coffee, oats, hint of dark chocolate, light caramel and molasses. The coffee grows.

Taste starts creamy and rich, some lactose and chocolate milk, light oats and hint biscuit. Soft luscious dark chocolate and some caramel. Just a hint of roast and coffee, with a touch of acrid burnt roast. There is a hint of bitterness although not sure now much is hops or the roasted malt. Finish is creamy and thick, light bitterness, roast, oats, and hint of dark chocolate lingering.

Mouth is thicker and creamy, lush typical small bubble nitro carb.

Overall not bad, nice malts with just a hint of acrid roast, nice creamy flavors, and it goes well with the nitro instead of being overpowered by it. (857 characters)

Very dark, rich tan head on top lingers for a long time.

Mild roasted malt aroma, little to no hops in the nose. Clean scent.

Mild malty flavor up front, like sliced whole wheat bread. Some roast coming through but not overpowering.

Mouthfeel is where this beer truly shines. Rich, luscious body covers the palate like a warm blanket. Chewy, thick and very slightly oily in a way to keep the whole procession moving. The mild flavor complements the body as it does not overpower the taste buds and gives you a chance to wrap yourself in the brew.

This is a great beer for a fatigued palate, or if you want to stretch one round out and slowly enjoy it. Gentle, warm and comfortable. (685 characters)
