Had to have a nice IPA to wash down the burger I got from Moon River.
Appearance: A nice hazy brown color with yellow hues. A bit darker than I thought this would be. The pour was nice so the head stays up above the glass, especially with a quick swirl. Lacing's nice, a bit spotty but sticks around.
Smell: Lots of citrus and grapefruit hops backed by some fruity malt and a bit of pepper-like spiciness. Without any huge risks, but very nicely balanced.
Taste: Everything comes through rather well. The hop attack stays for the long haul, with only a bit of the fruitiness coming in and being swept away by the hops. Hopheads will dig this for sure. I could've used a bit more balance with the malt, but the lingering finish is nice, not too terribly bitter, and complimented my burger very well.
Mouthfeel: A good amount of carbonation and fullness for the right mouthfeel. Nothing overpowers the other.
Drinkability: I'll have another indeed. This is a good IPA, and I'm sure it'll go with just about anything on the menu.

Pour on tap at brewery. Look is nice amber gold with pure white head.
Taste is pretty smooth, quick jolt of hop forwardness followed by mellow hints of citrus.
Overall another good American IPA from Savannah GA.

16 ounce draft in City Market area of Savannah.
Golden orange color covered with about 1f of white froth. Slender rings of lacing and active small bubble carbonation.
Light citrus aroma and a hint of blueberry. Mosaic hops, perhaps?
Orange, grapefruit, and lightly Caramelized malt flavors. The orange has a sweet bite.
Medium body, bitter hops that keep going.
Definitely an old school AIPA.

Had Swamp Fox in the excellent Beer Garden at Moon River, Savannah, on draft into 18-oz. nonic pint.
This is a beautiful beer, pouring slightly hazy, deep gold, with 1-finger of creamy, near-white head that lasts and leaves lace etched down the glass. Mild but lasting caramel malt and floral aromas. A sweet beginning leads to some melon and hop bite, rather like an APA, before a bitter but slick finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep golden with white head. Aroma and taste is of citrusy hops, grain and ripe fruit. Medium smooth body. Sour in the finish. Ok brew.

Not awful but certainly not my favorite IPA. Some hop aroma and ok bittering yet lacks the impact I want from a great IPA. Amber with slight haze and med/low body.
