A: Light yellow with a very thin head. Hardly any sign of carbonation.

S: Slightly floral and citrusy. Nice Smell.

T: Floral hop taste and slightly citrusy. Nice balance but nothing really stands out.

M: Lightly carbonated.

D: Very drinkable. Easily a session beer.

The folks at the brewery (thanks, Chris) told me this is a seasonal right now, but if it gets more hype and people keep drinking it, it may become a year-round brew.

Appearance: A copper amber color with nice soapy lacing rimming the imperial pint glass, good head retention throughout, a lot of carbonation shooting toward the top of the glass.

Smell: A nice balance between husk and earthy notes, fruit and berries, some sour cherries, and some citrus tones from the hops.

Taste: I would've guessed this was more than 4.0% ABV, but alas, it's not. I could see this being a monster imperial pale ale, as the flavors here are extremely balanced, with the fruit and citrus dominating, and the earthy husk notes giving a nice backbone, all with a nicely lingering finish.

Mouthfeel: Lighter-bodied even though the color's darker, but still remains crisp and not too carbonated, which I was worried about at first from the appearance.

Drinkability: Highly sessionable, with the flavors balanced, the alcohol fairly low, and the flavors better as they warm. I could probably drink this stuff all day, but unfortunately I don't live in Savannah. Try it if you get the chance. It won't blow your mind, but it's a very solid brew, and once I could drink a lot of.

Poured into a Moon River Mug.

Poured a hazy orange-amber with a thin white haze. Nice, crisp aromas of pungent hops : pineapple, pine resin, and grapefruit. Very clean and dank smelling. Taste follows the nose nicely, the hop profile is fresh and pungent, with more pineapple and grapefruit. Crisp and sessionable with a medium-thin mouth-feel and sharp carbonation. Overall a solid APA, I'm upset I've been missing out on it all this time!

From the menu: "Copper colored with a mild hop"

Lightly hazy; dark gold color. Nice Belgian lace on the sides of the glass

Nice floral aroma

Strong, raw hop plug flavor up front. This grows stronger at the swallow and leaves a long aftertaste. The body is rich. One of the better APA's I've had--good enough to order a pint after I completed the tasting.

Appearance: clear orange in color. 2" fluffy head lasts a while. Some moderate lacing paints the glass during the session.

Smell: floral bitterness and orange citrus comes through the glass easily.

Taste: caramel, floral hops, orange slices, and a bit of fruit sweetness make a nice sessionable pale ale.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout. Very short aftertaste.

Drinkability: great session pale ale here. Another one of those nice plastic cups beers for walking around town with.

Deep amber gold pour. No head. Thin lace. Nice rich color though.

Nose is very light citrus. Not much going on here.

Good flavor for a beer this low in abv. Nice herbal citrus bite. Decently dry finish. More tart than bitter, though. Hops really come out mid glass.

At 4%, the beer has a light feel.

Good session drinker

Pours a coppery brown with a nice white head that falls to a thin ring. Good lacing all the way down the glass.
Light aromas, but the earthy hops seem to come through first with hints of citrus followed by some brown sugar/caramel and dried, sweet fruits (cherries and apricots).
Flavors follow the aromas. Earthy/citrusy hops with the sweet brown sugar/caramel and dried fruit flavors.
Medium-bodied. Good carbonation keeps the flavors from lingering too long.
Very drinkable at only 4%. The somewhat strong flavors belie the low ABV.
Great session beer that is good for walking around with in the streets of Savannah.
