On-tap at the Brewery, poured into a Wine Glass.
Poured a dark brownish-red with a very slight off-white ring. Nice aromas of cranberry marmalade, oak, caramel, tobacco, and red wine vinegar. Lovely. Taste is similar to the nose, lots of oaky Bourbon flavors of caramel and vanilla mixed with more cranberry and vinegar. Mouthfeel is smooth and fairly crisp, with a medium body and solid carbonation. Overall a really nice beer and a great experiment. Cool to see something like this at my local place!

Had a glass on tap here at Moon River Brewing Company.
The oak barrel aging has had a very positive effect on the roasty notes in this brown ale. However, the sourness is understated, if present at all.
This is a decent oak-aged brown ale, but if you're looking for a sour beer, the tartness will not be there for you.

Tap at Moon River. Solid foggy brown pour. Just a faint ring of white bubbles.
Aroma, Cider vinegar, fig and some brown sugar. A little subdued.
Taste, tart up front cherry and apple. Fades pretty quickly to some malty raisin and fig. More herbal and funky notes in the finish.
Heavy side of light bodied, better carb than the appearance would lead to believe. It was a nice drinking beer, but kind of a subdued version. Really not bad as the B+ would indicate, but would have liked just a bit more pronounced sour note.
