Trader Joe's is a small market set in the middle of a very upscale and trendy shopping center in downtown Woodmere. It's a cool store with lots of organic products at prices comparable to major retail chains. It's more like a wine shop with lots of tasting samples and a few aisles of specialty foods. If you already get your groceries here you know they carry a few craft beers at good prices; but if you want a real selection you can down the street to one of the many other beer stores in the area.
Of course the Trader Joe's brand beer is present, and only 4.99 a 6-pack! But there is not much more to choose from. Anchor, Duvel, and some interesting seasonal beers make an appearance; and there are no macros, but also no locally made beers. On the upside, making a mix pack or buying singles is encouraged, and at the prices set- its really a good bargain.
There are plenty of employees to keep the shelves freshly stocked and rotated. Ask for the hot blonde chick named Suzanne to help you with your beer selection; friendly and knowledgable.

Visited over the past weekend as i was in the neighborhood and remebered reading about it on BA.
This is primarily and grocery store that specializes in only selling their own branded items. The store was small but clean.
I had no issues with service, but I was kinda just wandering around like a freakin tourist.
The beer selection was small and only took up a small space in their Beer/Wine section of the store.I was surprised to see that most of the stuff they carry was their own beer label. I didn't pick anyup, as it looked like BMC crap. I might get some in the future. The rest of the selection was a handfull of Abita, DFH 6 packs, and bombers from Duvel, Stone, and a few Lambics. In terms of selection, your better off going to whole foods about a 1/4 mile east on Chagrin.

I have stopped by this place a few times as it is in a shopping plaza (Eton Village) which has other destinations that I frequent. The Barnes & Nobles a few doors down has an outdoor chess "garden" and has hosted several Chess tournaments which I have played in. There are other stores and restaurants nearby as well.
Quality. Reasonable for the small size of this place. Everything is displayed in an orderly manner, large bottles together and sixers together. It is just fine, not remarkable quality.
Service. Did not require, inquire about help. This is a grocery store. You pretty much pick up what you are interested in and pay for it.
Selection. Large bottles of Duvel, Frambois Lambic and Peche (and the apple one), Stone AB and Ruination, sixers of Abita beer, some blueberry beer from Maine, Samuel Smith, and even their OWN beer which I did not purchase but it looks interesting enough. No BMC whatsoever. They even have a "make your own six pack" option which I appreciated. The bottles that you can choose from for that are in a single wooden crate and are not THAT diverse but the option is a good one. I am giving this rating a 4.0 despite the fact that they have only about 50 beers since they have no BMC and some interesting alternatives.
Value. Fine I guess. I think that I almost always choose this rating for places. Not too much variance here.
