This is my beer store. Binghamton hosts two such establishments, but this one has won me over again and again. First, it has a drive through beer pick up station. I saw these in other states, but this is the only one around in my neck of the woods. Also, they special order kegs. I recently installed a draft system in my basement and all I want are micro brews. This is no problem. They simply call the distributer and it's all cool. No other beer store in town offers this.
The building is wide open so you don't feel cramped when you are looking for your favorite brew. They offer a wide selection of beers from all over, but they specialize in micros. The owner is willing to try new styles and breweries so you don't get bogged down with the same old selection.
They have a growler station available so you can bring in your own and come away with something different. They also offer singles so you can mix your own six packs. This is awesome, especially for the BA who wants to review new beers all the time.
The selection is good, but I feel it will only get better as the business grows. Right now they offer a wide range of beers from mostly the northeast.
The owner is cool as hell. He is a beer lover like me. He is willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer; even an annoying beer geek like me. Thank you Beverage Express!

A decent distributor. A little empty looking. The fridges barely had anything in them. Things seemed to be strewn about randomly on metal shelves. It didn't look too good. The selection was fairly good. They had good stuff from the New England area, like Smuttnose and Allagash. Also picked up some St. Bernardus. Not a bad selection but could be better.
The service was friendly and they offered reccomendations based on what I was buying. They were surprised someone of my age (21) was buying such quality beer. Looks can deceive, I guess.
A decent place, but Sam the Beer Man is better in the area.

Started shopping there a few weeks ago and have made several trips back since. Bought many regional brews as well as some Euro imports. Good prices and selection. There is one guy who I have seen work there and I have made several trips. Just the usual hello but he did answer a few questions and has no problems running around the store.
I dotn know how many places work so I dont have much to compare to. They let you put together your own 6 packs and sell singles even. They also have a drive through area but I have yet to use that (but I bet my girlfriend would like me to); I like to go in and shop around. When I get a keg setup in my house, I will be going there for mine. Best part is the fact its only about 1.5 - 2 miles from my house.

While travelling through Binghamton on Interstate 81, I deceded to give this place a look. All in all, this is a good quality beer store with a respecatble selection and great prices. Located a very short distance off Exit 2, this is an open, airy, store. There's a nice selection of regional brews, and a spattering of German and Belgian beers. They probalby had just shy of 200 different beers. It's not a beer mecca by any means, but it is worth a stop if you're in the area. All beers are available as singles, and the prices are better than anything I've seen in a while. The employee that was there when I stopped didn't want to talk shop, but was more than happy to help me with bottles (I had my young son with me). I'll certainly be stopping again on my next trip through Binghamton.
