Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a thick jet black color that had a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipates mildly. Sly lacing. The aroma starts off with thick sweet milk chocolate, vanilla bean, some dark chocolate, and light roasted coffee bean. The flavor brings all of the previously mentioned aromas together nicely. Lingering sweet milk chocolate aftertaste leading into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Low carbonation yields a full thick smooth feel on my tongue. Overall, with all of the thick milk chocolate sweetness running all about, would this be a milk/sweet stout? In my opinion, I would say so.

On tap at the source.
Pours a solid black with a creamy off white head that has very little retention. Smells of chocolate in spades. Hints of vanilla and milk sugar, but really this one is all about the chocolate. Taste follows the aroma to a tee. It like drinking an alcoholic milk shake. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Decent brew and wonderful in its simplicity. Perfect for and chocoholic.
