Stumbled in here because we were hungry and didn't know where to go. Pleasantly surprised! Caught it at an off-peak time and were seated in somewhat tight confines that must feel a lot tighter when there are a flood of folks. Foodwise they were great: I got the toad-in-the-hole, which came out piping hot in a very soft and tasty pastry crust.
Got a flight of six beers. I thought their Forbidden Fruit, an oak-aged framboise, was eh, but that disappointment was more than made up by their Wee Heavy and their smoked stout. Their ESB and IPA were A-OK!
Can't wait to head back to Burlington to visit this brewpub again.

Was able to stop by on a beer tour and was excited to see a place that was part of micro beer history. The basement brewery was like NO OTHER BEER TOUR I've been on. Very unique equipment, making it obvious that this truly was an originator in the field.

Finally got around the visiting the VT institution. No much vibe going but in fairness, there was an ice storm the night before. Nice service, girl was friendly. Lots of choice (10 taps?) including 2 cask ales. Prices are real cheap, especially compared to Farmhouse. Beer was good and i'd definitely come here again.
