The Vermont Pub & Brewery is certainly a good place to visit when in the Bulington Area, ne of many good breweries/brewpubs in the vicinity. Atmosphere is pretty clean, laid back, and fairly well lit. Nice separated bar area, with a closed off area on one side for smokers and an open area with plenty of bar tables on the other side for those who wish to breathe somewhat fresher air. Service is usually very good and attentive, at least in the bar area where I've spent most of my time. Food is pretty decent, but not outstanding...though I've heard ravings about the sweet potato fries. The beer is excellent, with a good selection of 6-8 house brews on tap at any given time. Haven't had a bad beer there. The highlight for me usually is the Vermont Smoked Porter, which at least in my mind is unparalleled...bold statement I know, but you gotta try it. Prices are pretty reasonable, and 3 oz. samples of the beer are available for like 50 or 75 cents, a good way to try several without finishing your day all at once....

The east coast brew pub that launched it all (IMO).
VPB has really good local beer crafted on site (of course), it has good pub food like shephreds pie, meatloaf, etc.. and a really nice atmosphere. In the summer sit outside on the deck.
Service is ok, nothing notable.
As a brewpub it ranks among the best.
