16 oz can. Thinking the recipe has changed after reading previous reviews. 6.0% abv Pours light amber and cloudy with a thin head. Malty, bread aromas on the nose. As noted by others, a bit thin on the tongue but hits most of the typical notes for a Scottish style Ale. Malt forward with light hop bite. Bread pudding, caramel. Just felt thin and a bit watery. Not a bad representation, just not one I’m going to search out.

16oz can from Bert's. Cloudy mahogany pour, thin ring of tan head. Leathery, nutty aroma, light peat notes. Earthy, malty flavors, some tobacco, peat.

Look: Semi-clear ruby red leaning brown in color with a lively head that settles quickly leaving minimal lacing behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, toffee notes, some smoke, earthy notes, and melanoidin
Taste: Bready malt, toffee, melanoidin, and earthiness come on first, followed by some nice peat-smoked malt notes that blend very well and don’t detract from the overall profile nor dominate it. Brown bread and earthiness on the finish
Mouthfeel: Smooth, silky, soft but very clean throughout as well, low-medium carbonation, and a soft, clean finish
Overall: An outstanding Scottish Ale. I feel embarrassed that I’ve only had this beer once or twice and haven’t in years as it is ridiculously tasty and well-made. Awesome maltiness and earthy hops along with a kiss of smoke hit all the right notes for what I expect and hope for in this style. Time to get more and also explore these folks’ lineup even more now as this made a great impression

Bought a single 16oz can.
Amber-brown color with very little head.
Medium-light mouthfeel.
Smell-Not pleasant aroma that I have not experienced before, slight wet dog smell?
After initial pour carbonation becomes very, very flat
Flavor; Slight caramel, slight peat, not a lot going on here. Tasted almost watered down, like a ice cube had melted in the beer. Definite aftertaste of metal.
Overall not at all impressed. Would not buy again.

Look: It pours copper and is clear. It has a slightly light brown head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has moderate aromas of toast with a bit of biscuit. There is a touch of caramel, a low level of smoke, and earthy elements.
Taste: It is rather toasty with a low amount of caramel. There is a slight roasted element with some earthy elements.
Feel: It has a moderate body and moderate carbonation. It is also somewhat creamy.
Overall, a very nice blend of malt flavors with a touch of other elements. It is slight sweet and easy drinking.

Fearless Brewing Scottish Ale- 6% abv.
A: nut brown with no head at all after a couple seconds.
S: Grain sugar, alcohol.
T: sweet malt, caramel corn, ever so slight hoppiness in aftertaste on the back of the tongue.
M: drinkable, thin. Not bubbly. Kinda watery actually but good.
O: Pretty good beer. Cheap and not bad. Best beer I’ve had from this brewery which is pretty mediocre IMO. Brewery might be owned by a racist, not sure but him calling himself the “grand high exalted mystical brewer” makes me think of some dogwhistle KKK shit.
