This beer wasn't exactly what I thought it would be; for some reason I thought this would be more like Damnation's more extreme barrel-aged stable-mates like Beatification and Supplication. It wasn't that exactly, but it was a really solid Belgian-style ale. Before I forget, a big thanks to my cousin for bringing this out from the west coast on his journey from CA to RI.
A hazy golden body with a pretty tall white head. Aroma was bread-y, with some light yeast-y and pear-like esters. Flavor was more bread-y than anything else, but again had light and pleasing fruit and yeast esters. Mouthfeel was light and effervescent. Really good.
