Served on-tap at Falling Rock Tap House (Denver)
Served in a half pint glass:
The beer appears a nice golden color with a light fluffy head that had good retention and settled into a nice thin cap. The beer did have noticeable carbonation streaming to the top.
The aroma is sweet, Belgian yeast, very light banana and perhaps some spices and perhaps a combination of several fruits.
The taste is really good. Belgian yeast and some sweetness from the fruits.
The beer has a medium body, rich smooth and creamy with good carbonation.
This beer is so easy to drink, it might be a crime, the only slight downside is the elevated ABV, but other than that, I could drink it all day.
Honestly, I am not sure how much more I can expect from this style or what is it exactly that I am looking for to be able to give it a few 5's. Maybe after a couple more tries, I will have to re-visit.

a: golden hue with an ample white/slightly off-white head. Small lacing that retains fairly well.
s: On the nose I get pear, apples, and honey.
t: prickly carbonation, slightly tart with lemon, pepper, coriander coming through; finish with floral, spicy hops lingering
m: high carbonation, medium-light body
o: nice beer. I don't drink a lot in this style, but it's one of the better versions I've had in recent memory. This inexplicably sat in my cellar for a year (bottled 4/22/2013), and I am pleasantly surprised at how it has held up. Will get again next time I am within their distributors' range.
