Big thanks to Scott for this one.

A: Pours a hazy straw color with a one finger white, foamy head on top. Great retention, the head lasts for pretty much the entire time. Nice lacing all around the glass.

S: Pleasant aroma, lightly spiced with some coriander and Belgian yeast. Some orange and orange rind and a little bit of thyme/parsley.

T: Light fruit, zest/rind, and grass with a little bit of Belgian spices up front. There is a little bit of Barnyard/saison character to it. Some coriander and a little bit of pepper.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry.

O: Very easy drinking for a Belgian style beer. Wouldn't have guessed it that low in abv either. Could drink this one all day and see it pairing well with food too.

A- I do not usually know how to rate mouthfeel, but this beer actually deserved a high grade in this category. It was a glowingly bright yellow/orange. Great white head that left a really nice lacing.

S- Lemon, bread, sweet fruits

T- Lemon rind is definitely at the forefront, along with banana bread. Sweet fruit and bready

M- Good body and medium carbonation

O- Not as good as other offerings I have had from RR, but not a bad beer. I am not a huge fan of the style, so it is hard for me to decide whether I am not big on this beer, or if it is just that I am not into the style. I keep trying to like BPA's but can't get into them.

Draft pour into a 10oz tulip for $5.75. Sampled 2/24/11.

A: Served with a 2 finger bright white foamy head. Decent retention. The body is yellow-orange - very light in color - mostly clear with just a touch of haze. Very little carbonation can be seen on the inside. Excellent lacing.

S: Dusty, spicy, lightly bretted. Background notes of lemon zest and orange peel.

T: The taste follows the nose closely and is slightly more appealing. The brett induced dry finish is offset by a light candi sugar sweetness front to mid palate.

M: Medium-light and a little thin. Lacks the crispness and prickly carbonation but as a result, the texture is very smooth

D: [DRINKABILITY] Very easy to drink but the lack of complexity keeps my interest from being too high.

Poured from a 375ml bottle into a stemmed Jester King glass. Batch 008

A: Clear with a slight touch of haze pale straw color. Gentle to lightly aggressive pour leads to a fizzy one-finger white head that dissipates to a very thin, yet present cap. Lacing is thick and consistent.

S: Nose is not overwhelming but not underwhelming either. Nice malt profile up front and nice subtle hints of biscuit and lemon grass. Added on to that smell is the faint aroma of spices and hops and you have a deliciously complex aroma.

T: Follows the nose with its subtle yet complex tones of malt, biscuit, spices and a touch of fruit mixed in for a delicious melody of ingredients.

M: Creamy mouth coating presents the siren call for my return of more of this. I had to consciously drink this one slowly. Amply carbonated. Smooth finish.

O: A really nice representation of the style. A supremely easy drinker. One that I could definitely have a lot of.

Batch 011, procured in a trade with retsinis. Poured into a tulip.

Pale straw yellow, effervescent and very hazy. The many bubbles rising from the depths contribute to an inch-tall, foamy head of pure white that blankets the brew for quite a while but leaves no lace.

The nose: softly grainy, with hay, lemongrass and a smooth bretty funk. Saltine crackers and hints of pear can be found in the background.

Pear is much more noticeable in the flavor. The sweet and tart fruit is followed by a fair amount of bitter, pithy lemon, barnyard funk and hay. Nicely dry, grainy, crackery finish. I could drink this all day.

The bubbles perceived earlier make their way into the mouthfeel, lending their hyperactivity to the body, which is a soft, silky medium-light and feels like whipped cream in the mouth.

Redemption is easily the best Belgian single I’ve had (though it might be the only example of the style I’ve tried), and even compared with Belgian pale ales it rises near the top of the pack. It might not be the most flavorful beer ever, but its drinkability is outrageous. If it were available in Arizona in the summer, I’d buy it by the case.

A: Poured a straw yellow color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap, some bubbles and lacing

S: Hay, lemon tartness and barnyard funk

T: A lemony tartness upfront, with some hay, barnyard funk, tad honey, a dry and light bite on the end

M: Light body, perhaps a tad to much carbonation, bland, tartness and funk

O: Not sure what RR was going with this.
