A-slightly cloudy yellow gold with a nice white head. Slow bubbles. Some floaties.

S-banana, honey, some pale Belgian spices. Almost faint.

T-comes in with an awesome aged taste of pale Belgian spices and black peppercorn. It has a very awesome rawness to it that is reminiscent of a true Belgian. It's absolutely a wonderful taste a such a low abv. The peppercorn has a stinging on the tongue that lasts awhile. Has a good matching after-taste.

M-heavy carbonation with a dry finish. Almost perfect.

O-one major problem. It's the price. Well I got this in western PA, so I'm pretty sure I overpaid. The truth is I dream about a pale Belgian ale with this much flavor, kept at a very drinkable abv. I just wish it wouldn't wreck my wallet to get a case of this. It definitely doesn't have the flavor of the stronger pale Belgians, but it still has an awesome rawness.

The label stated that this was a sister beer to Damnation and I'd guess it is the "weak sister." Far more subtle and smooth, this blonde ale was not nearly as complex as Damnation but was nice enough. It poured with a very thin head and was very notably blonde. The aroma was lighter in fruity notes and gave me the impression of pears. The taste was smooth and fruity but much softer than Damnation. Overall it's enjoyable but not quite its sibling.

[Suggested Glassware: Tulip Glass]

The pour was a hazy medium yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that steadily diminished down to a thin film with a small collar, producing excellent sheets of lacing.

The aroma a was of a grain malt, mild herbal hops and a musty Belgian yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), banana, clove and a slight fruity ester (maybe green apple).

The taste was a boldly yeasty with a mild grainy feel and a light fruity presence early on, and slowly became mildly bitter with a touch of citrus, a hint of banana and a light spicy ending. The flavor had a great longevity, with a nice yeasty taste that was left lingering while you got this slight spicy bite right to the back of the throat.

Mouthfeel was a bit beyond light in body with a dry, watery texture and a medium carbonation.

Overall another tasty beer from this brewer, although pretty average for the style it still possessed tons of flavor and without a high ABV. Yes, I think I could enjoy a few of these...

375ml bottle thanks to stmgl01 for the hook up! Poured into Founders tulip. Batch 11.

A- Pours a slightly hazy mostly translucent light lemony yellow color with about a finger of white foamy head that recedes to a thin layer leaving some lacing. Nice consistent rising carbonation bubbles.

S- Lemony grassy hops with some light funky brett and a light sourness, a hint of barnyard hay in the background. Smells similar to Damnation with a light brett smell that isn't too overpowering.

T- Light lemony grassy hops, hay, some light sourness that kind of mixes with the grass and lemon and doesn't really assert itself too much. A little bit of a watery finish that ends in a light lemony aftertaste that lingers.

M- Fairly thin, over carbonated which in my opinion kind of clashed a little bit with the farmhouse qualities, easy to drink.

O- This was a decent beer that I enjoyed drinking but wasn't overly impressed. I definitely enjoyed Damnation (the base beer) more and there are plenty of beers from RR that I would choose over this. I would drink this again, but definitely not pay the price tag on it or seek it out.
