Thanks to n8dietz for picking this bottle up for me.
Quick head with a half ring of residual foam. Good bubbling, but not great. I poured this beer without the yeast sediement in the bottle. Faintly pale hay yellow in color.
Very faint, tart apple, lightly toasted and unmalted barley aromas.
Lightly toasted and unmalted barley comes together with a fruity Belgian yeast that gives off some ripe apple and tart blackberry nuances. I could drink this all day. Smooth, and somewhat grassy palate. This beer has flavor and spunk, but not the alcoholic punch of most Belgian style beers available in the USA.

Big thanks to andrewk for this RR treat. Label says it is an abbey style "single", though listed in its broader cat. BPA on BA.
Even with a gentle pour some yeast gets in to cloud the straw colored beer, and a nice head of purest white tops it. Nice, but some of the better looking in this style make one want to capture photos.
Smell is tart and mineral sharp yeast, candi, a little bit of herbal bitter to it, even a hint of floral.
Sharp yeast tart hits first, with a nice full taste of sweet ,and dry mineral following. Really simple mix of flavors, but all of them very clean and balanced for a delicious taste. As it warms I taste what might be wheat in there, but it would be hard to label this a bready taste, it isn't, but the grain flavors are part of what makes this work. The mineral becomes spicy along the way, very nicely so, the bitter at the end of the sip becomes more evident.
Mouthfeel is what broad guidelines say this should be. Medium carb., coating on the palate, a bit spicy and tart and lightly bitter finish, and it stays clean.
Vern nice beer, gonna try it's brother Damnation next to compare. I recommend this beer to all who love simple clean refreshing beers that feature tasteful Belgian yeast tart and tangy at center stage.

Russian River Redemption is a dry and metallic Belgian pale ale. Everything was great, except I didn't love the metallic flavour.
A: Cloudy yellow colour and a 15 mm head that lasts due to high carbonation. 5
S: Malt and yeast with a little zesty lemon taste. Maybe some clove spices too. 4.5
T: Malt and yeast with some metallic sourness and maybe some lemon zest. The aftertaste is very dry and a little bitter. 3.5
M: Silky. Foamy. 4.5
