Looks wise it was a bit cloudy and yellow, smooth one finger head that eventually dissipated into a sheen, leaving pretty good lacing.
Smell wise it was a funky sour lemon peel tart treat. You note a floral presence with nice herbal backgrounds and an almost spring fields like wild aroma. The smell finishes off with a smooth, fruity, pungent aroma that leaves you constantly taking another whiff from your snifter.
Taste wise this stuff is funky as all hell. So sour, so tart. Wild lemon-peel cheek puckeringly sour tastes dominate. A tinge of fruitiness peeks in around the corner. Fresh fields of April wildflowers finish off your tastebuds in a 1-2 punch that's unforgettable.
There is a slight sweetness but mostly it's sour and wonderfully different.
The mouthfeel is smooth, yet medium bodied and crisp, with a lingering sourness that lasts forever.
Drink is pretty damn good. I love wild ales, and RR has another hit in this one.

A - 4.25 - nice golden amber color with a white head that dissipates down pretty quickly. Hazy but probably because I poured the entire thing aggressively into the glass.
S - 4.5 - Green apple, sour lemon, barnyard flavors from the brett. Hay, bread, wheat.
T - 4.75 - Great sour beer. Sour green apple, lemon, white wine, bready yeast, barnyard flavors lingering in the background. White grape.
M - 4.5 - Sour, but not as sour as some other beers. It still allows you to taste some of the citrus and barnyard flavors. light-medium mouthfeel. alc covered. Aftertaste is bready/wheaty and still a little tart.
O - 4.5 - Good beer. Not that much alcohol flavor. Sessionable. Expensive and not available in most places though.
