Batch 005. Poured from 375ml bottle into a Lost Abbey tulip.
Appearance: Pours a hazy golden with a thumb width of fluffy white head that takes its time settling down.
Smell: Sour apple and lemon zest, funk from the Brett, some hints of yeast and some pepper even making it in the nose.
Taste: Sour apple, pear and tart lemon. Barnyard funk from the Brett and some yeast as well. Very tasty.
Mouthfeel: A little bit more than light bodied and dry.
Overall: Another great sour from Russian River (surprise, surprise). I'm glad this made it's way to Philly and I'm definitely going to get as much as I can next time.
