Picked this up at Plumpjack Wine Store in San Francisco. Batch 004.
Poured into a New Belgium globe.
Appearance: Lightly hazed, golden body with a very thin, white, sticky head. A sparse column of carbonation stems from the etched bottom. Good retention. Impressive lacing.
Smell: Whoa! I can't help but smile when smelling this. Brett, overripe banana, lemon, flowers, and leafy vegetation. Pungent, complex, balanced, and gorgeous. Can't get enough of this.
Taste: Brett, lemon peel, candy-like tartness (think Warheads), and lighter flowery and/or herbal flavors - awesome!
Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium in body, moderate-to-high in carbonation, and very tart. There's a bit of creaminess to this one, and I dig it. Very nicely done.
Drinkability: Very sour, very complex, and very enjoyable. Get some!
Serving type: bottle
