A- A gloriously bright, clear golden beer. Sexy fluffy yet creamy head, lacing to die for. Really is beautiful in the tulip glass here at Pi Bar.
S- The epitome of IIPA. Explosive, clean hop punch to the nostrils.
T- A lot like Pliny. Bright, clean hop character. Just a touch of malt, but really all about the hops. Nice and dry. My only complaint is the slight taste of alcohol, though it's not bad for 10+%. Again, the epitome of IIPA. I almost prefer really fresh Elder as I find them similar minus the alcohol.
M- Perfect for the style, not too rich like the more barleywine-ish IIPAs, nice carbonation.
D- I could drink a couple of these, and that's more than I can say for a lot of beers this high in alcohol. You know you're drinking some big beer from the warming, but for what it is it's pretty exceptional.
Serving type: on-tap
