Wow, a great beer. Thanks to GrassrootsVT for spotting this at the new Foodery in Philly. Had Supplication after several other dank beers and a day of tasting at the Kennett Square Beer Fest, and despite all of this I was still in awe. A delicious beer.
It pours a beautiful clear copper, brown orange, glowing with nice light and clarity. Good head with slight crisp burnt toffee lacing.
Could have a near perfect aroma: a great balance of sour cherry, alcohol, horse blanket, vanilla and baking pie crust. Nice.
The taste follows as near perfect: a big wallop of front sweet, sour cherry, vanilla, tart pie baking crust, full full funkiness, barnyard, tart apple, cranberry. Great finish dry and fruity tart.
Mouthfeel is great, excellent carbonation, with clean biting, semi-dry but still wet. Yes, I wanted more after my half glass was gone, still wanting more.

2010 Vintage on tap at Belmont Station
A: a medium brown color with a light red tint. Small off white head.
S: really nice cherries, some wine, and a little funk.
T: follows the nose. Tart cherries immediately, some blackberry maybe? A hint of oak from the barrel.
M: high carbonation. Nice and prickly. Refreshing dry finish.
O: freaking fantastic! Need to find more bottles for my cellar.

Poured into a tulip glass from the tap at Russian River Brewery.
Very little head, leaving behind small lace ring.
Nose is sour with a touch of sweet, there are cherries and blackberries with notes of oak.
Tastes of cherries, sour blackberries, oak, and wildflowers.
Light yet sharp mouthfeel, lots of acidity.
This beer boarders on perfection. Enjoy it.
