Batch 001, cellared on the side.
Pours turbid, dark red, with an ambitious, spritzy head that falls immediately.
Hissing and prickling akin to a Schweppes.
Persistant release of carbonation not evident through the depths of the body, but revealing on the placid surface.
Sour cherries up front in the nose, with peppered leather and dusty boards.
Quite earthy and musty, with warming spice.
Cinnamon bark, anise, cardamon, paprika, dried mint, and schezuan peppercorns step forward as it breathes.
A cedar chest in the loft of a barn, filled with spice satchels, dried cherries, and old leather soles.
Medium bodied, subdued carbonation, but still lively- juicy and crisp.
A moderate amount of tartness leads the pallet, with a zesty cherry kick and a drying woodiness.
Developes warm and spicy, with some continued puckering, and tannic drying.
Finishes lengthy with some playfull, musty funk- and warming, dried citrus zest.
Not over-the-top wild, but already quite complex, and another 3-5 years in the cellar should further "Supplicate" this Vinnie masterpiece further.

My thanks to my good friend JohnParadee for this delicious beer.
Bottled on 10/21/2013. Enjoyed on 3/5/2014.
Poured from the bottle into two Prohibition Pig snifters.
Pours a nice hazy medium red with minimal head that quickly dissipates.
Smell is of brett, some good funk, hayfield and cherries. Some wine notes as well.
Taste is delicious and showcase the tart brett, the cherries and the Pinot from the barrels. It's complex, and wonderful.
Mouthfeel is dry and tart. It's perfect for the brett.
Overall, I loved the beer. I have just recently had another cherry brett, The Alchemist's Petit Mutant. I felt the cherries were more prominent in the Petit Mutant, but Supplication had the Pinot Noir notes.
This is a world class beer.
