A 335 mL bottle from FluffyMcTingle; thanks again man! Batch 005x2, poured into my trusty Deschutes tulip.
A moderate pour produces a curious shade of red/peach/blood orange, a rather unique color. About a centimeter of dirty white head that lingers briefly before leaving a ring of bubbles around the surface and a few scattered patches across it. Little in the way of lacing.
The aroma is of tart cherries, some peach, a bit of oak, some funky yeast, hay, straw, and small elements of orange and grapefruit citrus. Really though, tart cherries and a certain white wine essence really carry the nose through in a wonderful fashion.
The taste begins with subtle fruits: cherry, tangerine, grapefruit. It gives way to sour cherry esters, a dry oak flavor, white wine, various light grains, and a hearty dose of funk. The sour really kicks in on the swallow, but subdues quickly.
Plenty of carbonation to keep this one alive, despite the somewhat lacking head. Dry finish that keeps you coming back.
Overall, this is phenomenal. A strong sour cherry presence that plays beautifully off of the more subtle citrus and light grain notes; the wine barrels add an extra layer of complexity that will certainly keep one coming back for more.

My thanks to my good friend JohnParadee for this delicious beer.
Bottled on 10/21/2013. Enjoyed on 3/5/2014.
Poured from the bottle into two Prohibition Pig snifters.
Pours a nice hazy medium red with minimal head that quickly dissipates.
Smell is of brett, some good funk, hayfield and cherries. Some wine notes as well.
Taste is delicious and showcase the tart brett, the cherries and the Pinot from the barrels. It's complex, and wonderful.
Mouthfeel is dry and tart. It's perfect for the brett.
Overall, I loved the beer. I have just recently had another cherry brett, The Alchemist's Petit Mutant. I felt the cherries were more prominent in the Petit Mutant, but Supplication had the Pinot Noir notes.
This is a world class beer.
