Had this from a bottle at Hawthorne's, in Philadelphia.
A: Average appearance. Light colored, golden yellow, nothing extraordinary here.
S: Bitter and raw. Pungent. Smells like one would expect this beer to smell. Definitely some fruit in there, but as usual my senses were overwhelmed by the sour smell.
T: Taste takes a few sips to get used to. But when I did, it was great. Bitter, sour, but enjoyable. Not sour enough to make me pucker up, but definitely had the taste profile I expected.
M: Good. Nothing special here.

2010 Vintage on tap at Belmont Station
A: a medium brown color with a light red tint. Small off white head.
S: really nice cherries, some wine, and a little funk.
T: follows the nose. Tart cherries immediately, some blackberry maybe? A hint of oak from the barrel.
M: high carbonation. Nice and prickly. Refreshing dry finish.
O: freaking fantastic! Need to find more bottles for my cellar.
Serving type: on-tap
